2020 (also known as AD 2020, pronounced as "two thousand twenty", shorten to "20") was a leap year starting on Wednesday of the Gregorian calendar, the 2020th year of the Common Era (CE) and Anno Domini (AD) designations. It is the 20th year of the 3rd millennium and the 21st century, and the 1st year of the 2020s decade.

The year was taken place by technology advancements, and several global situations. When the year started, a major car crash in a highway at Roregon happened, with 20 cars involved. One of the most notable events was the 2020 Retropolis Riots in August and September, following George Bloxord's assassination. Meanwhile, the Bloxy Awards 2020 in March took place with a large amount of viewers, making it one of the largest streams in the world. In July, a Robloxian olympics event took place. During this year, the Covid-19 pandemic continued to vigorously spread. In February, the 2020 Meepcity Terrorist Attack took place, which was a major situation. The following attack was caused by members who were associated with Tubers93, who was a major mass murderer at that time.

  • March 25 – A glitch in an online banking system allows users to withdraw extra funds before being resolved.
