Calvin Vincent Matthew (December 2, 1992 – January 20, 2024) was a Ro-Italian actor and singer, who was well recognized for his roles on television programs such as Evade as David Davidson, The Walking Dead as Carl, The Theme Park Reviewer as Timmy Armstrong, and, most famously, as Kevin in Robloxians. He was also well-known for his music, with his most recognized songs being Doomed Today (2016), Racing Through The Rain (2015), and The Start and End (2017). He has also gained recognition for composing the popular soundtrack for Family Life, named Together At Home.

His most significant works were made in the mid to late 2010s. He is also the twin brother of Pete Matthew, who was an actor like Calvin. Calvin died in a vehicle accident in Bloxburg Valley on January 20 2024, although the two continued to perform in various roles until then. Calvin was remembered as one of the most recognisable actors during the 2010s and early 2020s.

Early Life and Education

On December 2, 1992, parents Dan Matthew and Maria Vincent, two Robloxian vacationers, welcomed two twins, Pete and Calvin Matthew. Calvin and his brother Pete grew up to be known as "inseparable." Dan Matthew subsequently remarked in an interview following Calvin's death that "if Pete was playing baseball, Calvin was doing baseball." If Calvin jumped off a cliff, Pete did as well. Pete and Calvin attended Beverlox Hills High School, where they joined the Drama and Arts class. Later, they both attended University of Bloxburg Valley, San Juan.

Music and Acting Career

Calvin Vincent Matthew was requested at the age of 19 to record the first opening theme for the then-upcoming television series Lovely World, which was only used for the first two episodes. Following the popularity of the opening themes, Calvin recorded more opening theme songs for the first five seasons, all were a part of Lovely World: The Original Series. The two were used as a running joke in the Robloxians series, first appearing in the second season of that show in 2014; whenever their mother called their name, they both responded. He composed his first song on July 9, 2014, which was named Dropping Again. On August 27, 2015, Calvin Matthew’s most popular song was composed, called Racing Through The Rain. Matthew also took up a role in Modern Family in the 2010s. He would remain in the role in the series, Family Life until 2019 right after composing the soundtrack album for the starting of season 3, Together At Home. The album ended up becoming highly popular gaining millions of streams digitally and positive reviews from critics.

He continued his career by starring in other films and television shows, including Robloxians, The Theme Park Reviewer, The Walking Dead, and more. He was married to famous Robloxian model-singer Rachel Alicost in February 2020 although the two met in August 2014. They enjoyed a positive relationship throughout their marriage. He also launched his own talk show called Sit With Matthew in late 2023, but it would end abruptly in January 2024, after the actor was killed in a vehicle accident. On January 19, 2024, at the age of 31, he perished in a vehicle accident with his wife, Rachel Alicost, who was 30 at the time. This occurred during an illegal street racing event. Because of this, his brother, Pete, quit acting all-together in June 2024.

On January 19th, 2024, Matthew's Porsche 911 was struck at a vehicle going 160 km/h (158.7 sps) while the other vehicle was street-racing. He was then hit by two other speeding vehicles. His cause of death was ruled as cardiac arrest due to asphyxia, which was caused by the collision. Matthew's chest wall was unable to expand, and he died of a heart-attack after an estimated two minutes after the vehicles had crashed. His wife, Rachel Alicost (30), was also killed. Four Robloxians have been charged with his, including Alicost. The charges are currently various counts of third degree unintentional vehicular manslaughter. A reporter, Guardiani dell'Ordine lieutenant Vonti Bloxford (31) reported, that, according to forensics, the people driving the speeding cars were University of Ro-Turin student Ermelinda Segreno (20) and Emile Dumont (43), a Rogaulian tourist.

His funeral four days after death (January 23, 2024) was attended by thousands of fans, his family relatives such as Pete Matthew and his friends/associates such as, Rabbi Hurthek, Benjamin "W-Magnet" James, and Adam Bloxvine.
