kotrTayvion Amari Cole (January 12, 2004 – August 1, 2021) was an Bloxveldo-Robloxian football player and rapper, known for his song Quality Dang (2020). He gained notoriety after being shot to death during a house party by suspect Zach Bryson on August 1, 2021, during a party in East Brickton. His murder sparked widespread rioting and protests in the United States of Robloxia and garnered enormous publicity around the world.

Early life and education

Tayvion Cole was born on January 12, 2004 in Mercy Hospital, East Brickton, Rowia, United States of Robloxia. Olivia Roberts and Julius Cole were his parents when he was growing up. Growing up in a Christian home, Cole would often go to church on Sundays. A family acquaintance claimed that Cole was a devoted follower of the faith. Tayvion grew up with his two parents, elder brother Aiden Cole, and other family members at a neighboring apartment building. He would go to North Kensington High School, where he would excel as a football player.

Tayvion attended Ridgeview Elementary School and skipped a grade, which allowed him to graduate earlier than expected from Kensington North Highschool in 2021. He would start his music career at the age of 16, and while in middle school, he became close friends with a young man by the name of Mannix Idol. Ryder Aycock was his best buddy as well, and the two of them were involved in reported ganglion activities.

Music career

On July 16, 2020, Cole's most popular song, Quality Dang (2020), became released to the general audience on Pear Music and Ropify, marking the beginning of his musical career. To begin his music career, he asked his father Julius for 100R$ so that he could go to a recording studio before releasing it. Reluctantly, Julius agreed. Once he got the audio recorded, he had his friend and well known producer in East Brickton, Kendrick Hill produce the song. Within hours after being uploaded on RoTube, the video had gathered over 10,000 views, many of which came from family members of Cole. He also created a Rotube account with apparently over 1,000 subscribers.

"Quality Dang" has 5.3 million views by April 2021 and was heavily shared on social media, namely Rectok. Prior to his passing, Cole belonged to the "LRC Club," also known as the "Lost Rappers Club". Former members of the group that Cole joined, including Lyonel Khalil, Jabari Harvey, Lil Dang, Lil Mist, and George Bloxord, all died either to shootings or drug overdose between 2016 and 2020. As Tayvion subsequently said in an interview in February 2021, "I was inspired by them. The way they worked really spoke to me".

Murder

In 2021, at the age of 17, he became professional at his school's football team. He then graduated to Robloxian School of Sport. On the evening of August 1, 2021, he decided to host a party at his friend, Kendrick Hill's house to celebrate the graduation. At the time of his murder, 134 people were at the party, including some of his family members, such as his mother and father. Around this time, an annoymous source tipped off Zach Bryson a known gang banger in the Genesee Homes, that his known enemy, Cole was at the party. around 8:59 p.m. Bryson arrived at the party, he then proceeded to walk up to Cole brandishing a fully loaded Taurus .380, subsequently, he discharged his entire clip in the direction of Cole, with seven of the shots striking Tayvion Cole directly, (at that time) almost killing him, and another wounding Tayvion's friend James Chavez.

A member of the audience recorded a video of Tayvion dancing in front of one of his closest friends. The 56-second video also showed Tayvion's bloody body in the aftermath of the incident and Bryson pointing a gun just before someone yelled, "HOLY-." At least three more people were injured as a result of the crowd fleeing.

Immediately after the shooting, Zach Bryson was recorded on Gennesee Homes CCTV footage running to the car of a Quez Hudsan. It's been speculated that Quez Hudsan was allegedly Bryson's getaway driver, this being proven in the CCTV footage and the footage recorded himself.

André Cole, Tayvion's cousin who was 10 at the time was hurt during the event as well, and his parents checked him in. Fortunately, the boy didn't have any serious injuries, so he was soon released from the hospital.

Tayvion was in critical condition, gasping for oxygen, and bleeding heavily from practically every part of his body. His mother was by his side, weeping. His final words were reportedly, "Mama... mama...." to which his mother yelled, "No! Stay put!". Sadly, he passed away.

Two days after Tayvion was killed, on August 3, 2021, Tyreek Hall called the Brickton Police Department at 9:07 p.m. to report seeing a suspicious someone near the Shaffer residences. The individual was allegedly brandishing a pistol and hurling debris into the ground. Later, the police report verified that it was Bryson, who attempted to flee when the cops arrived at the scene, but was immediately restrained to the ground.

Aftermath and legacy

"Quality Dang" became viral on social media and on the official Rotube channel aswell as Rotify within hours of his death being made public. In only three days, the song had received around 15 million views, compared to the 7 million views that had been reported in July 2021—less than a month before his death. On August 26, 2021, Tayvion Cole's funeral commenced. The event drew over 400 attendees, including the mayor of East Brickton, who gave a 10-minute statement in response to the tragedy. Zach Bryson was also sought after by the East Brickton Police after Tayvion's murder. It also began the Stop Violence in East Brickton Movement, which gained popularity on TikTok as well as Rostagram.

After being placed under arrest, Bryson was found guilty of all charges—including the first-degree murder of Tayvion Cole—in October 2023. Tayvion Cole was rumored to have killed at least 5 innocent victims before he passed away for a monetary cause. However, the story was later debunked by his mother in a interview in December 2023, she said " This was spread by Tayvion's enemies to diminish his reputation. My son was never involved in any gang activities or in any murders."

On July 12, 2024, the mural was vandalised again by a group of unknown Robloxians. The police investigated the vandalism, but were unfortunately unable to determine any suspects. Three more well-known people and over 40 others were slain following the death of Tayvion: Kai Lopez, Chad DeJesus, and Jay Bryson.

Starting on September 29, 2024, avatar shops begin selling circle chains inspired by his face.

On March 23, 2025, another memorial to Tayvion was created and planted in the mafia city of Sub Rosa.
