Jabari Anthony Harvey, (Born December 1, 1998 - December 10, 2019) known professionally as Fresh Vanilla, was a Robloxian rapper, singer, and songwriter. Throughout the three years of his career, (2016-2019) he was a leading figure in emo rap, and Sound-Blox rap genres, which garnered mainstream media attention during the mid-to-late 2010s. His stage name, Vanilla, which represents according to Harvey, "Dominance, Power, and Hustling" He later stated that he had taken the name from Rapper, Kid Cookie, along with Harveys' love for sweet treats like ice-cream.

Harvey began his rap career in 2016 at age 17 as in independent artist, under the name, "Vanilla Money Gang" and signed a recording contract with Lyonel Khalil,  (Professionally known as K-Murda) and Outerscope Records in 2018. He gained recognition with the diamond-certified single "Vanilla", which peaked on the Robloxian Billboard Hot 100. It was included on his triple-platinum debut album, "Dreamless Anthem" (2018) alongside the single(s), "Graduation", "All Girls Are The Same", "You N' Me" and, "Broken" He then collaborated with Rapper, Lil Keltec, on the mixtape, "Vanilla On Drugs", and released his second debut album, "The Point Of Everything Everywhere" In 2019; and it contained the hit single, "Time Bomb" and became Harveys' first number one debut on the Robloxian Billboard 200 in 2019.

Harvey died of a drug overdose on December 10, 2019, 9 days after his birthday. His first posthumous album, being, "Everyone Dies" (2020) matched chart records for most successful posthumous album debut, and also for Most Robloxian Top-Ten Entries for One Album. His second posthumous album, released in 2021, named, "Wishing Well", which also released alongside a documentary about him, titled, "Fresh Vanilla: Into the rabbit-hole." , were contained in the Robloxian Top 20 Single, "Break My Heart".

Early Life and Education

Jerome Calvin Harvey, (Born December 1, 1998 - December 10, 2019) in Bloxchicago, Central Robloxia to parents. He grew up in south Warren County, and grew up in multiple Bloxchicago suburbs. He spent most of his teen years and childhood in Mercedes Hills, and partially in another neighborhood during his childhood, Winnemucca Heights. He moved to Mercedes Hills in 2013, after complications living in Winnemucca Heights. In Mercedes Hills, he attended Mercedes - Bellaire Community Highschool, and graduated in 2017. His parents divorced when he was 5 years old in March 2004, after his father lift Central Robloxia, leaving him, his brother, his sister, and his mother, to live in Winnemucca, Harvey's father died on August 1st, 2018, due to heart complications. Harvey's mother was a conservative, who was described as strict, and was a Catholic, and did not let Harvey listen to Hip-Hop, but allowed him to listen

to rap songs, and also rock songs. He also expanded his music interest through playing video games, such as Guitar Blox. Harvey had been heavily addicted to drugs since the 6th grade, after he had tried Perc's for the first time, after hearing a rap-song by Lil Obleceni, rapping about the drug. whilst attending New Colonia Middle School, Harvey' later stated in an interview, "I was so stupid when I was younger, but I was still in the 6th grade. Hearing some grown ass-dude rapping about perc's that shit sounded really appealing to me." Harvey had also done drugs whilst attending Mercedes - Bellaire Community High School, where he talked about smoking weed, and drinking lean in the song, "Break My Heart" (2017) Harvey was also described to have an interest in music at a young

age, at age 5, he began taking violin and piano lessons, after telling his mother he wanted to do music. However, at age 13, he stopped attending Piano Lessons, as well as Violin Lessons all together. Around his sophomore year, Harvey installed Sound-Blox on his phone, where he would record himself freestyling rap, and releasing it. He didn't began an official career until after graduating his junior year of highschool, on June 2nd, 2016. Around this time, he began to take rapping more seriously, instead of freestyling, he began to write song lyrics, and as well as editing songs, and releasing them, he released his debut album in January 2018, titled, "Dreamless Anthem". Which was later featured on his triple-platinum debut album card.

Near fatal overdose

On May 31, 2019, Harvey was rushed to hospital after he had began overdosing in a restaurant in Bloxburg Valley. His near-fatal overdose caused much panic amongst many fans, Harvey was at an estimated 30 minutes away from death. Luckily, a paramedic managed to use a deliberator to revive Harvey. However, Harvey didn't want to stop drugs, even after he had been sent to rehab. He allegedly, 'Just wanted to lower his tolerance'

Death

On December 8, 2019, Harvey arrived back in Blox Orleans after completing a show at Procryptic Stadium in Bloxslyvannia. Harvey had kept an upkeep of drugs throughout his career due to him constantly being on tours, Harvey had been addicted to a mixture of cough syrup and lean.
