He spent the first seven years of his life living in Full Moon Bay, South Bloxifornia, to parents Carl Higgins Sr. and mother, Katie Doherty. His family moved to Full Moon Bay when Obleceni was age ten, and his parents divorced when Obleceni was age 10. In May 1992, Obleceni's mother filed and received a restraining order against Higgins Sr. (Obleceni's father). Obleceni later stated in an interview where he got his rap name from, "My mama would always say that I was worth a Million Bucks, so she'd call me Obleceni, sometimes Little Obleceni." In 1988, Obleceni

In December 1994, at age 13, a former friend named Reginald Barney stabbed him 13 times, giving him life-threatening injuries, and scars on his chest. Later in 2020, he stated that they had gotten into an argument over which rapper was better, so in response, Barney started antagonizing Higgins with a knife and eventually stabbed him 13 times using the knife.
