Kailyn Umberto Rubio Lopez (April 17, 2005 - August 18, 2023) known professionally as KURBANKS, was an Robloxian promising drill rapper from New Blockers City, New Bloxia. Background
Early Life
Kai Lopez was born and raised in The Bronx. He lived at an apartment complex near downtown Blockers City.
His mother is Bloxavaldorian and his father is Robloxian. He grew up primarily in the Yankees Projects in the South Bronx. In 6th grade, Kai had to be held back after he assaulted 6 students. At age 15, he was inspired by other drill rappers, which prompted him to start rapping.
Death
On 8:15 pm in Kai's apartment room, Kai and his friend Kovac was performing on Rostagram Live, a popular streaming platform for Robloxian rappers. During the live stream, Rubio Lopez was flexing a gun, possibly a Ruger MAX-9 Compact Pistol, and as he was flexing a gun, 17-year-old Jayden Aguirre Dots came up from behind and shot a bullet to his back and the second bullet at the head, instantly killing him. He then attempted to shoot at Kovac but missed all his shots. The livestream then ended.
Aftermath
Police Body cam
A body camera from female officer Charlotte Torsney was recorded 10 minutes after the incident. It was posted to BloxTube and became viral a week before it was deleted.
The footage showed her and three male officers inside the apartment Kai formerly lived. They broke in Kai's room and saw the dead body of Kai lying on the floor with a hole in the head. Charlotte grabbed Kai's phone that he left on the table for evidence. They then found six 9mm shells on the floor, presumably from Jayden's gun. The clip then ended, and no other footage was shown.
Message from Kovac in E-Doger
6 hours after the incident, kovac tweeted a post in E - Doger saying that kai Lopez died and he ran away from the attack before Jayden even managed to kill him.
