The COVID-19 pandemic, also known as the coronavirus pandemic, is a contagious disease that spread worldwide in January 2020. However, the pandemic can be dated back to December 2019, caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).

History:
Pandemic Emergence:
The pandemic was first identified in 2019 in Rohan, Peoples Republic of Luobu, where it emerged after a robloxian ate a bat that he hunted to death in a cave near Rohan. He then developed a bad cold and later died. Soon after, there was an outbreak in the Eastern Hemisphere. On an unknown date in January 2020, the pandemic was then identified in New Island City, where a Robloxian named Jake tested positive for COVID-19, making it the first reported case in the Western Hemisphere. Robloxia began imposing a 20-day quarantine for Robloxians who tested positive for COVID-19. Soon after, there was an outbreak in the Western Hemisphere. On March 1, 2020, the first deaths of COVID-19 started in the Western Hemisphere. On March 5, 2020, the Robloxia Hotel was closed due to COVID-19.
Eradication:
The pandemic was eradicated in 2025, after infecting:
- 9,000,000 Robloxians in New Island City
and killing:
- 5,646,261 Robloxians in New Island City
