David Baszucki (born January 20, 1963), commonly known by his alias Builderman, is a Robloxian politician and software engineer who was the 30th president of Robloxia from 2004 to 2024 and the 32nd president of Robloxia from late October 2025 to May 23, 2026. He has an estimated personal net worth of R$2 trillion as of 2025, but the exact value of his personal net worth is yet to be found. Baszucki is the only Robloxian president to serve a third term.
As the founder of the Corporatist Party, he was first elected president in the 2004 election as a Conservative. During his first term, he focused on strengthening the economy and became known for his themes of "rebuilding" and "reimagining" the nation. Despite controversially repealing the Constitution of the United States of Robloxia and replacing it with the Terms of Citizenship, his high approval rating helped him win re-election in 2014. This time, he ran under the Corporatist Party to appeal to a wider voter base.
His second term was far more divisive. In 2016, he removed Tix as a national currency and announced he would fully rejoin the Corporatist Party in 2017. Many robloxians were shocked, since they had expected him to remain more moderate. He also received heavy backlash for his lack of pushback against the Redcrow Fusion Party's global terrorism operations during the 2017 Guest Genocide, as well as his refusal to repeal the 2017 Anti-Guest murder bill. He sought a third term in the 2024 election, but lost in an electoral landslide to Conservative Mason Smith. Although he declared plans to run again in 2026, Mason’s reinstatement of the Constitution on December 1, 2024 blocked him from seeking another term. He was allowed to serve another term after Congress was lobbied on October 24, 2025, and since then, has become the president again, with his term now selected to expire in 2026 (originally on December 1, 2034 before Congress and the Robloxian Supreme Court informed him that under the February 2025 Term Limits Act, he would only be able to serve up to four years rather than the ten years that defined his first two terms before the Early Election Act of 2026 effectively capped his presidency on June 1, 2026, before being further capped to May 23, 2026 upon successful impeachment).
Biography
Pre-Political Career
Besides the fact he used to work as a window cleaner over the summer when he was a student of a private university in Bloxburg Valley, not much is known about his early and young adult life.
After he graduated from the private university, his career stalled and he entered a period of uncertainty as he faced a slowing job market, even though his private university was a launchpad for billion-Robux companies. His resume was thin and his dream job did not materialize. One of his only work experiences he had at this time was an early career cleaning windows alongside his brother during a summer job during his time at the private university. According to him, window cleaning was the absolute worst job in Roblox and he was marked by confusion and rejection. He also remembered this time, calling it terrible and the fact he spent this time trying to find out what he was supposed to do. He also recalled creating a spreadsheet with nine potential careers and listing good metrics and bad metrics of each, calling it a weird way to figure out his career at that time. It was then, according to Baszucki, that he learned how to trust his own instincts.
Eventually, he settled towards a post-graduate role which gave him a salary. He would later, in the next few years, work in jobs that he found as problematic as window cleaning. Through this work, he learned how to step back and reassess his direction. He would then reset himself, deciding to join a political career by creating a third-party known as the Knowledge Revolutionaries. There exist apocryphal meme-like copypasta stories about him deciding to join a political career after he caused an incident; the most famous of which was David Baszucki Explains How He Ruled Robloxia, in which it is said he caused the 1989 Philips Incident, though whether or not those stories are genuine are yet to be verified. However, the most famous one has already been debunked as historians who witnessed the 1989 Philips Incident say that there was no big red shipping container that was described in the manner the apocryphal story described it.
Political Career
Pre-Presidential Career
Baszucki entered politics during a time of dissatisfaction with traditional party leadership and the need that Robloxia must prioritize population growth and federal surpluses. In 1998, his party, Knowledge Revolutionaries, was coalesced and merged into the Robloxian Conservative Party of Robloxia, and he was rewarded R$8 billion. He was expected to become a chairperson for the Robloxian Conservative Party of Robloxia, but when he realized he was not the chairperson, he once again found himself without a clear path, so he departed from the Robloxian Conservative Party and wanted to form a new party.
First Presidential Career
After departing the Robloxian Conservative Party, he formed the Corporatist Party in 2002. Fearing that the party was too small, he decided to blend in and self-declare himself to be a Conservative to blend in with the rest of the conservatives. In a few years, he won the 2004 presidential election, a cumulation of all his political career efforts and announced that he would be defecting from the Robloxian Conservative Party to become a member of the the Corporatist Party on December 1st. Under his leadership, Robloxia became more focused on business with strong emphasis on corporate growth, infrastructure, and economic nationalism, as well as population growth and federal surpluses. Baszucki also began initiatives like the Unified Corporate Tax Zone Act and the Digital Rail Grid Program.

In the second term, he easily won the 2014 presidential election of Robloxia. However, in April 14, 2016, Baszucki removed Tix, and with it, the minimum wage of 10 TIX (that he set when TIX was introduced back in 2007 as a second currency of United States of Robloxia, equivalent to 0.58 Robux a day), which was largely met with negative reactions. He faced immense opposition from the public for his bystander position during the infamous 2017 Guest Genocide, but he did not resign, and his career continued after the execution of the Redcrow Fusion Party in late October 2017. He received further criticism for his lack of action in repealing the Anti-Guest murder bill which was put into law in October 2017 by the Redcrow Fusion Party. In 2019, he altered currency again by changing the Robux icon into a hexagon shape, which was met with mixed reactions. In the 2024 presidential election, Baszucki was defeated by Mason “Scorpio” Smith of the Robloxian Conservative Party. However, he still remained active in politics, as during his concession, he decided that his best course of action now would be to run again in the 2028 presidential elections and stood as the party leader of the Corporatist Party.
Second Presidential Career
"Peaceful" Transfer of Power
On October 24, 2025, Baszucki felt impatient and doubtful. Rather than waiting for the (then) 2028 United States of Robloxia presidential election, which would not occur for another 3.2 years and he even doubted if he would ever win back the presidency, he decided to lobby the Robloxian Congress to give him an additional ten year term lasting until November 30, 2034. However, his request was not listened to, but a partial compromise would be made in which the Robloxian Congress granted him an additional four year term and any additional four year terms just as long as he could win the elections of those terms. On October 29, 2025, the Robloxian Congress voted to impeach Mason Smith for the third time; this time, they adopted the issue of presidential incapacity of all of his members of succession, including Mason Smith, Matthew Smith, and so on, arguing that a president should have the capacity to serve for all four years or unless they voluntarily choose to resign and that the current president only had the capacity to serve 0.8 years. This was met with near unanimity, clearly exceeding the 2/3 supermajority needed in the Robloxian House and Robloxian Senate, with some Robloxians dissenting arguing that he could resolve the divorce affairs with his First Lady of Robloxia in less than four years. Therefore, Mason Smith and all of his cabinet were impeached, the first time in Robloxian history a president was successfully impeached, and the Robloxian Congress placed David Baszucki on the presidency. When asked to form his presidential cabinet, President Baszucki said all over 2,000 employees in Robloxia Government Headquarters Three (the statistic was from December 31, 2024) were to be his presidential cabinet, returning to an era where the cabinet would be something other than a principal advisory body, and for his vice president, he did not choose anyone, making him the first uncommitted slate president, until the Robloxian government suggested giving him one. His name is Fidel Klaasen.
First Actions
On November 4, 2025, Baszucki found it difficult to pass bills and laws that he liked due to the Corporatist Party occupying only less than 33% of the seats (or 179) in the Robloxian Congress. To this end, he decided to dismiss the Robloxian Congress and have the Corporatist Party take advantage of no election by immediately taking over the legislative branch of the Robloxian government, effectively packing it as they occupied all 535 seats of the branch, creating a situation where despite Mason Scorpio Smith being president, the entire Robloxia government turned into a puppet government under the manipulation of the Corporatist Party, reverting Robloxia back to what it was in the 2004-2024 era but with more controversial reforms. This caused numerous protests.
A few weeks later, the Corporatist Party commented that they remained firm on their newly appointed 535 seats. The protesting fatigue affecting protesters, protests died down.
On December 19, 2025, his first presidential trip was to visit his alma mater in Bloxburg Valley on Blox Force One, where he told students about his life development. On January 7, 2026, he demoted the right for robloxians to speak to other robloxians to a privilege, started to segregate robloxians on the basis of their scanned age, and told robloxians to that they only had the right to communicate to those who were in adjacent age groups, including their own age group.
On January 17, 2026, for the right to speak to be back, some extremist members of the New Voldex Party tried to raid his Central Robloxian home and tried to violently assault him into a coma for a decade to protest against age checks, but due to the fact his house address was private besides being located in Central Robloxia, they ended up infiltrating an innocent robloxian's house in Central Robloxia and assaulting a robloxian, thinking it might be the house of Baszucki, and were charged with raid and assault. This slightly decreased the approval rating of the New Voldex Party and the raiders and assaulters apologized to the innocent robloxian. The innocent robloxian was later revealed to have not being comatose.
New Voldex Party leader said to the party to try again, to which they did. They would later, with the help of their hacking team and wearing black hats, perform a deep search on what county he lives. Later on, they found his city, his ZIP code, his street, and his house number. He then raided that house, which was later revealed to be the correct house as it had trees, perfect for any Robloxian to rub their hands. They then went to a full blown assault on him, causing him to fall into a coma. Doctors at the scene said that at worse, he will be in a coma for a decade, which jeopardized his ability to govern Robloxia until the 2036 election, but later, doctors said while he was comatose, he still had the ability to comment on situations and surprisingly govern, with him being able to issue executive orders (along with the rest of his cabinet) while he is in a coma, such as the For All Robloxians, A Compliant and Appropriate Appearance Mandate Executive Order, which saw backlash due to it being a Robloxian rights violation (all Robloxians should express themselves freely as part of an article in the United Roblox Countries Declaration of Robloxian Rights document in 1948.
On March 17, 2026, he unexpectedly signed the Early Election Act of 2026, contributing to the 2026 United States of Robloxia presidential election taking place. The comatose state of him also costed his ability to see what the act was implementing. Due to failure to meet constitutional requirements and the fact most Robloxians approved that the 22nd Amendment of the former United States of Robloxia Constitution should actually exist rather than been erased in "Terms of Citizenship", Baszucki was unable to take part in the elections as a candidate, so Matt Bloxman, supported by his running mate, Fidel Klaasen, became the Corporatists Party's presidential candidate. He initially protested against it before realizing under this, Robloxia could continue to preserve its national safety.
On April 16, 2026, the Robloxian government reported their president has made a total of R$9.84 billion in 2025 just from compensation packages from his presidency position.
On April 26, 2026, Baszucki promoted that new technologies in Robloxia were supporting the next generation of robloxians.
On May 6, 2026, Baszucki in response to Puma's victory refused to accept the result and called for the Board of Directors to verify if he would be a great chief executive officer for a hypothetical corporation, as well as regularly scheduled performance reviews. On May 11, 2026, he accused Puma of dissolving the Board of Directors; he himself has the authority to do that and other direct interventions provided at least 50% of the Corporatist Party registered voters approve of the intervention or executive order. On May 23, 2026, he was finally impeached by the Robloxian government after a 80-10-10 vote, and he was arrested for five years in federal prison, making his impeachment the second successful impeachment in Robloxian history. It was a special impeachment in which to enforce it, the Robloxia Citizens Militia placed him under arrest and under the custodial watches of the Robloxian Citizen Militia, was forcefully dragged out of the Blox House and into a law enforcement vehicle, which took him into a federal prison. Behind the federal prison bars, he told visitors that he remained the chairperson of the Corporatist Party, but he plans to temporarily relinquish this title when he finds a successor to him as a chairperson until he is released on June 1, 2031.
On June 4, 2026, the prosecutor's office brought dozens of charges against him, including violations of global laws. He was arrested the same day, and the next day, he was transferred to a special detention center in Brickland under the control of the Robloxian Citizen Militia due to John Puma finding out that the federal prison had a critical vulnerability that could have rendered the entire prison critically vulnerable. He is expected to attend trial at the Roblox Criminal Court in Hague during the coming months. There, he will be tried alongside his brother Gregory Baszucki, as well as other Corporatist politicians, including Sebald Bloxbrick, Matt Bloxman, Michael Guthrie, and Fidel Klaasen.
Outfit
Builderman's originally held a wrench and Classic t-shirt in media and meetings, along with a Builders Club Hard Hat. In 2011, he changed his outfit and would instead have jeans with a grey jacket, and a Turbo Builders Club Hard Hat. In April 2023, his appearance changed once again, later wearing a “Roblox” shirt and jeans.
On May 29, 2020, The Robloxian government accidentally pulled Builderman's shirt from major clothing stores. Media personality Faave made a video stating this and that the Robloxian government's avatar shop regulation is still a huge problem as this rogue government continues to recall even the most innocent of shirts. On June 1, 2020, the Robloxian government put Builderman's shirt back on sale after repeated petitions to get the government to bring back to the shirt.
Builderman Award of Excellence
The Award of Excellence was the final award handed out at the former Bloxy Awards. It is given out to one area that is recognized for being well made according to David Baszucki (although in the 2020 Annual Bloxy Awards, it was awarded to two areas). This one is carried out by David Baszucki, which was depicted on media as Builderman.
Alias Name
In early 2006, Builderman's alias name was "BuilderMan". However, in late 2006, his alias name changed to "Builderman". Then, in mid 2007, his alias name changed to "builderman" and still remains this way today.
Controversy
Allegations of robloxian rights violations
During Baszucki's presidency, the court's independence was undermined. There were reports of courts being used to attack the opposition and censor independent media. The United Roblox Countries statistical office calculated that during his presidency, the courts were only slightly less dependent on the government than in many of the Baoji and Bloxveld dictatorships. Dozens of cases of mishandling of cases, primarily those of opposition activists, were reported to the robloxian rights tribunals. Organizations such as the Committee for the Defense of Democracy and politicians such as John Puma believe that Baszucki should be brought to trial and charged with violating freedom of speech and the press, which also constitutes a robloxian rights violation. This is exemplified when he repealed the Constitution of Robloxia on the first day of his presidency via Executive Order, turning it into his Terms of Citizenship, which has policies preventing certain speech and press from being said on the country television. He also is ignorant of feedback from his fellow citizens.
Furthermore, the allegations of Robloxian rights violations has been amplified with the recent contentious passage of two executive orders in his presidency.
2017 Guest Genocide bystander allegations
The 2017 Guest Genocide was the result of actions committed by the Blackskulls, Robloxsai and the Redcrow Fusion Party whom had managed to take over the government for a period of roughly one month in October 2017. It is true that Baszucki did not have any direct connections to the events and it is unlikely that any other members of the government were aware of the operation prior to it occurring. However Baszucki received enormous amounts of backlash for numerous reasons, including his lack of urgency in banning and barring the Redcrow Fusion Party from running for office, since their extreme doctrines were very much publicised and were their main selling point. Additionally Baszucki, even when Knightgaladeld had taken over the position of vice-president and had already enacted the anti-guest bill, was still the president. This meant he was still able to command the Robloxian Army. Yet his failure to do so was seen as a form of bystander syndrome or complacency with Knightgaladeld's atrocities.
After the genocide, he remained in office, banning the Redcrow Fusion Party, but his failure to ever repeal the anti-guest murder bill also received enormous backlash.
Controversial debate on whether or not, fit for Robloxian politics
In 2025, Mason "Scorpio" Smith and Hostaz Immuj Khan claimed that Baszucki should not have been a president of Robloxia due to his birthplace in Bloxanada. However, Baszucki responded by saying that in 1972, he obtained a green card (permanent resident of Robloxia) and in 1976, he obtained Robloxian citizenship, meaning that he was eligible to be a president of Robloxia. Furthermore, when Baszucki became the president of Robloxia, he repealed the Constitution of the United States of Robloxia in favor of his Terms of Citizenship and many other documents, enabling any robloxian to become president regardless of place of birth, just as long as they are able to work in a company.
Calls for Disqualification from the 2028 United States of Robloxia Presidential Elections
Since the Free Schlepington Movement, there has been repeated calls and petitions to have him disqualified from the 2028 United States of Robloxia Presidential Elections. However, since the Corporatist Party does not do primaries, it is impossible to disqualify him. Those petitions and calls have been amplified with the recent contentious passage of the Age Checks for Communication Executive Order, and the main petition to get him out now is signed by 300,000 robloxians. Fortunately, the petitions worked, and many petition signers celebrated when Baszucki was finally removed from his throne in the Blox House and disqualified effectively from the next presidential election due to the 22nd Amendment of the former United States of Robloxia constitution.
