Tix, also known as Ticket, is a former secondary currency of the United States of Robloxia and several other countries, first established in 1296 and lasted until April 14, 2016 when the entire currency was made counterfeit in Robloxia. Seventeen Tix was equivalent to one Robux. at the time of deprecation. However, the value often fluctuated between 14 to 17 Tix during a certain time periods. Due to inflation, had Tix still existed in 2026, 20 Robux would equate to 1 Tix.

Tix remained the currency of Kingdom of Oceania after it gained independence in 1985 under the Silverton City Agreement. It was also adopted by Gobloxia in 1993. To stabilize local economies, Robux and Tix became official currencies in Equablox in 2000, alongside the Equabloxian centavo, and in El Bloxavaldor, replacing the Bloxavaldoran cassel.

When the currency existed, Robloxians could go to a domestic currency exchange office to exchange them for Robux, which is the current and only currency of Robloxia at present. In other countries, except for the countries with only one currency, that being of Tix, robloxians could go to a domestic currency exchange office to exchange them for the country's other currencies.

David "Builderman" Baszucki, who was president at that time issued an executive order on April 14th, 2016 announcing that the currency would become counterfeit due to citizens making too much Robux out of it and was found to be the root principal cause of several problems such as economic degradation. The removal also removed the minimum wage of Robloxia, which was then 10 Tix per day (equivalent to 0.5 Robux per day in 2026). As a result, several riots broke out in the country, although riots later subsided during the subsequent years as more robloxians accepted that Tix removal is likely to remain. Violent and nonviolent protests were reported to have occurred in all regions of Robloxia. One violent protest resulted in the deaths of 3 officers and 1 rioter and the injuries of 25 officers and 12 rioters on April 16, 2016.

Following the Tix's deprecation in Robloxia, all other countries that had adopted the currency subsequently followed suit with similar reasons, such as Oceania, Gobloxia, Equablox, and El Bloxavaldor later that year. Reactions ranged from acceptance to violently riotous. In Robloxia, Oceania, and El Bloxavaldor, Tix was replaced by Player Points, which, however, ceased to be Robloxia's currency in 2018. El Bloxavaldor stopped using them the same year, and Oceania introduced a new currency in their place by 2021 (see also: Oceania currency crisis).

Posthumous illegal utilization

During the late 2010s, shortly after the currency was removed, there were several Robloxians who discovered illegal methods of utilising tix despite not being legally usable. As a result, crime rates across the country of Robloxia have increased by 2%, with counties that also used Tix seeing crime rates have similar, yet punctuated, increases. Law enforcement officials have found the motives of the criminals to be in response to the Tix Executive Order. Five illegal Tix projects have been found in Brookhaven alone in one search on April 20, 2016. Similar illegal Tix projects have been found in other cities in other countries where they have been used. Law enforcement officials state that many more illegal Tix projects could be taking place in the country and other countries in April 20, 2016, but slowly, those are being busted by law enforcement officials.

After its official discontinuation, Tix became a subject of nostalgia and was often used in underground trading within Robloxia and the countries that it formerly had adopted. The underground rate assumes inflationary pressures similar to what happened to Tix on Robloxia on the long-run and a constant compounded annual growth rate, and has eventually led to the widely cited 20 Tix to 1 Robux exchange rate.
