John Sams

John Sams (born July 28, 1970) is a Robloxian politician and registered with the Corporatist Party, who is currently serving as acting President of Robloxia and was formerly serving as a representative of New Bloxico (2011-2026) and the Speaker of the House of Representatives (2016-2021 and 2025-2026). However, he is more officially part of the Corporatist-Progressive Party. The first Speaker of the House to become President of Robloxia, he would become acting president despite the removal of the 22nd Amendment of the United States of Robloxia Constitution, which defines a succession should an absence occur in a presidency, and the fact Fidel Klaasen, David Baszucki's running mate, had been arrested while on an attempt to bring age checks to Bloxjiado under diplomacy, arguing Bloxjiado would be as safe as Robloxia is. From 1998 to 2007, Sams was a member of the Robloxian Conservative Party, serving in various local positions in New Bloxico. In 2007, he joined the Corporatist Party and gained popularity in his region, which allowed him to become a representative. During his first term, he gained popularity, which allowed him to become Speaker of the House of Representatives in his second term. He repeatedly criticized the opposition, which allowed him to become Speaker again when his party unfairly took over the Robloxia Congress in November 2025. With the February Crisis and the Early Election Act of 2026, he began motivating Corporatists to betray the Robloxian government rule under Baszucki and tell them to vote based on democratic ideals. and stopped voting for pro-Corporatist legislation, gaining opposition within the Baszucki cabinet. On May 23, 2026, President David Baszucki finally was impeached by the Robloxian Senate while it was having an online meeting due to the inability to meet in-person, with 80 voting to convict, 10 voting to acquit, and 10 voting present, exceeding the 67 needed to impeach any president under the former United States of Robloxia Constitution. John Sams became the new acting president, and his reign is expected to last only eight days before he is to peacefully transfer power to President-Elect John Y. Puma on inauguration day at 9:00 AM Telamon Sea Time, making his presidency, if acting presidents are included as official presidents, the shortest in Robloxia history. The presidency of John Sams was well-received from Day One, as he immediately declared that he would be switching his political party to a new political party called Corporatist-Progressive, designed to introduce Progressive Party ideals to a Corporatist government. He also recognized John Puma as the winner and will do anything to help the Corporatists learn Progressive ideals. This party was unrecognized due to the impromptu decision to create it, but John Sams called it a "activist party" since he wanted the Corporatists to become activists to stop corporatism. First, the Corporatists had a strong belief that federal surpluses should have a high precedence over a country's population, so John Sams told the Robloxian Congress to start to prioritize people rather than federal surpluses, arguing it was acceptable that the country goes into federal deficits from time to time. Next, they endorsed the Robloxian Senate and House to show their true political parties after it was revealed that some Corporatists did not like Baszucki's direction. Finally, John Sams told John Puma, the President-Elect at that time, to monitor the Robloxian Senate and House for any reversions. With that, John Sams had effectively checked the Corporatist power of the Robloxian Congress.

Also on Day One, John Sams announced a sweeping plan to rebuild the four buildings that were tragically lost during the May 18, 2026 Attack on Robloxia City. The Federal Court of Robloxia, which had been destroyed by far-right terrorist organizations and was occupied by a sit-in to protest the leniency of the Federal Court's sentence to Baszucki, was finished on May 26, 2026. The Blox House was finished on May 28, 2026. The Robloxian Capitol was finished on May 30, 2026. Finally, before he left office at 9 AM Telamon Sea Time, he managed to finish the reconstruction of the city's Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Cassel. Also, the security magnetometers were considered to be added in all federal government buildings to prevent any raiders from approaching them with knives and rifles.
