Massagaf Conference

The Massagaf Conference was a conference held in Massagaf from May 27, to June 8, 2025, during which talks take place regarding the future of claims on Bloxartica and the future division of territories. The conference was held in the Parliament House in Massagaf, which is currently owned by the Bloxjiado government. It was attended by representatives of many countries interested in the Bloxartica region. It led to the conclusion of the Treaty of Massagaf. The treaty was officially confirmed in June 8th when President Hamdaan Shah signed it with other talks leaders in the Parliament House.

Cause

Bloxartica has attracted the interest of many powers for many years. In ancient times and the Middle Ages, only Penguins associated with the Pula Dynasty visited there. The first Robloxians sailed to Bloxartica in the 17th century from the area of ​​​​present-day Bloxile, but it was not until the 19th century that they began to take a serious interest in the region. Since then, many claims have been made. To date, there have been many attempts to organize division conference for Bloxartica, but most have come to nothing. In 2024, the president of Blox Zealand, Christopher Ruxon called for the settlement of the issue of this continent. However, only Kamehameha Makakala and Anthony Roalbanese appeared at the meeting in Auckblox. Representatives of the then unrecognized Bloxmania Union and Neotopia also showed interest in it. At that time, an agreement was signed on cooperation between Blox Zealand, Telamon Islands, and Bloxstralia regarding claims and research on Bloxartica. The matter became public after the significant increase in the importance of the Bloxmania Union, whose independence was supported by many countries. Additionally, some officials from the Xenonist Union demanded clarification on the issue of claims of other countries on the territory of their country's claims. In view of this, Kamehameha Makakala and Cristopher Ruxon again called for a meeting, to which they invited most of the owners of claims on Bloxartica. President of Bloxjiado, Hamdaan Shah expressed interest in organizing a conference in Massagaf, which began at the end of May.

Course

On May 27, the inaugural session of the conference took place in the Bloxjiado parliament. Representatives from the following countries attended:

• Blox Zealand - represented by President Christopher Ruxon, members of his government and several specialists.
• Bloxargentina - represented by a delegation of Bloxargentinian polar explorers and political advisors.
• Bloxile - represented by the Governor of Bloxagellanes Rodrigo Sánchez Helicóptero and a delegation of Bloxilean polar explorers.
• Bloxjiado - represented by President Hamdaan Shah, members of his government as well as several parliamentarians, advisors and specialists.
• Bloxmania Union - represented by President Pilot Ipsbest, as well as advisors and independence activists taken with them.
• Bloxstralia - represented by President Anthony Roalbanese, his government and advisors.
• Free Bloxartica - represented by King Edward II and members of the government with advisors.
• Rogaulia - represented by the Minister of External Affairs and Eurobloxia Joel Monnes, and advisers.
• Neotopia - represented by Prime Minister George Yellow, members of the government, advisors and specialists.
• Ro-Norway - represented by King Harblox V, several members of the government, specialists and a delegation of Ro-Norwegian polar explorers.
• Ro-Poland - represented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Badosław Bloksikorski and a delegation of Ro-Polish polar explorers.
• Telamon Islands - represented by President Kamehameha Makakala, several ministers and deputy ministers, advisors and a delegation of Telamonian polar explorers.
• Xenonist Union - represented by Pangominister Danosalo, Pingominister Hinkaro Rajato, officials and officers.

In addition to robloxians representing states, the conference was also attended by Juan Otocolobus, who headed an independent delegation composed of various socialist and left-wing activists, as well as polar explorers.

Delegations from several countries also joined as observers. The conference lasted from May 27 to June 8, when the treaty was signed. First, the issues of the Xenonist Union's claims and the independence of countries such as Free Bloxartica, Neotopia, and the Bloxmania Union were discussed. The division of islands and archipelagos was also discussed. Another issue was the division of Bloxartica itself between the claimant countries. After the division was established, legal issues were also discussed. During the conference, the Telamon Islands delegation acted as a mediator and protector of the interests of Blox Zealand, Bloxstralia, the Xenonist Union, as well as the countries wishing to declare independence. Bloxjiado was in a position to support the independent countries. Bloxmania Union had independence in 1970 but was still unrecognised until President Hamdaan Shah negotiated with the URC to recognize it. Bloxstralia tried to gain as much as possible while the delegations of Bloxile and Bloxargentina argued over the land. However, the inept Robloxia delegation was unable to achieve much, which showed the rising country's incompetence in relation to the emerging powers. Despite this, many compromises were reached and finally on June 8, the Treaty of Massagaf was signed in the parliament building, which decided on the division of Bloxartica.

General Act

Provisions of the conference's General Act:

• Bloxmania Union loses claims to the Notus Islands and the western coast of Marie Byrd Land, gaining more land in the north in return.
• The portion of the west of Bloxstralian Bloxartic Territory and west of 80°E will be confirmed as a part of independent country Neotopia.
• The territory between 25°W and 35°W becomes the overseas territory of Bloxjiado as Bloxji Polar County.
• Free Bloxartica leases Notus Islands to Telamon Islands for 13 years. Archipelago becomes overseas territory of Telamon Islands until the lease ends in 2038.
• Marie Byrd Land will become independent democratic or monarchistic state before October 2025 (probably abandoned).
• Ro-Norway receives ownership confirmation of Peter I Island and Rouvet Island. It is also awarded the Princess Ro-Astrid Coast.
• Alejiandro Island and islands surrounding it are annexed by Bloxile as Alejiandro Island Territory. Ro-Poland receives Arctowski Peninsula, located near Rilldena Bay, as overseas territory.
• Ban on hunting and military activities on Bloxartica.
• Robloxia receives ownership confirmation of the McNeil Island aswell as the McNeil Research Facility.

The General Act was the main part of Treaty of Massagaf, signed on June 8, 2025.

Aftermath

While the conference was successful, until June 27, 2025, there was no dispute over which country got which territorial gain, even though Playduo Studio found out that their government in Bloxartica was effectively dissolved by an implied provision of the General Act and that the territorial loss would be staggering for them. Fortunately, they readily accepted having Paradise Island as their only governable territory. This was known as the Pax Bloxarcticae, which is Latin for Bloxartica Peace. It was first ever peace on the Bloxartica continent since Playduo Studio took over the government.

Later, Rogaulia asked Bloxmania if Rogaulia could claim a stake on the land of Bloxartica. Unfortunately, Bloxmania said the conference had ended. Rogaulia refused to accept this, and thus ending the Pax Bloxarcticae.

Adélie Land Conflict

On August 18, 2025, Rogaulia threatened war with Bloxmania Union due to Rogaulia not getting any part of land in the Massagaf Conference due to being late. However, a lot of robloxians saw that as a Rogaulia’s fault for inactive participation. President Hamdaan Shah of Bloxjiado made a meeting in Massagaf with Kamehameha Makakala, Edward Whitestone II, George Yellow, and representatives of the United Roblox Countries, to whether or not, interfere in the war. Most accepted and President Hamdaan Shah warned Rogaulia that if this war happens, Rogaulians should get ready for a big conflict since it was confirmed that if the war happened, the United Roblox Countries and possibly Robloxia would also get involved in the war on Bloxmania Union side. However, some Eurobloxian nations like Bloxia has supported Rogaulia due to them also having land claims. Crossroadia and Waterloo had strong relations with Rogaulia, so they joined too. NBTO was still debating whether to join the war when it ended.

Ultimately, the Telamon Islands proposed peace talks, which were held in Telamon City. According to the agreement, Rogaulia would receive a portion of the Bloxmania Union known as South Rogaulia. The official agreement was signed in the Xenonist Union. Both countries ratified it, and it entered into force shortly after its conclusion.
