Tom and Jerry and the Wizard of Oz is a 2011 American comedy adventure fantasy action musical family drama traditional-animated direct-to-video feature film starring Tom and Jerry, produced by Warner Bros. Animation. The film is an animated remake of MGM's 1939 original classic live-action film, The Wizard of Oz with the addition of Tom and Jerry, who would debut in their series of MGM films a year later, incorporating them into the movie as major supporting characters. Droopy and Butch also cameo as minor antagonists. The film was released on August 23, 2011.
Five years later in 2016, Warner Bros. Animation produced a sequel called Tom and Jerry: Back to Oz.
