Ted “Teddy” Zachery (born August 1993, Sacramento, Bloxburg Valley, United States of Robloxia) is a disgraced ex-real estate developer, convicted fraudster, and predator who rose to infamy for creating exploit-heavy, inappropriate areas targeting minors. Over the course of a decade, he committed various crimes and even exploited minors on the internet, before being exposed by the BloxTuber Schlep, and later arrested.
Early Life
Ted was born to a family of Bloxian descent in Sacramento, Bloxburg Valley. His father worked as a delivery driver for Bloxy Cola Co., while his mother ran a small furniture stall in the Bloxwood neighborhood plaza. Young Teddy was fascinated with the country from an early age, building his first obstacle course at age 10 and learning to make his own models simply by learning how other models worked.
However, in 2013, at age 18, he was arrested for selling fake Dominuses and charged with counterfeiting, and was sentenced to a week in jail due to his prior history of scamming people on the internet.
Rise
By late 2016, Teddy had entered the black market, which was not revealed until after his arrest. At the same time, he also became a major condominium developer and had a net worth of over RB$500,000 by 2017 and increasing to over 2 million by 2019. When he was 23, he founded The Teddy Company, seemingly inspired by the underground Robloxia black market and constructed social hangouts that actually contained models that were too dangerous and suggestive under the Robloxian constitution. Robloxians took advantage of the hangouts to do inappropriate sexual acts. He reportedly invited young children to these hangouts, and gave them gifts for attending.
The hangouts were only accessible by joining a Discord group which showed coordinates to the locations of the hangouts, by private message. Because of this, he amassed 1.8 million Robux in seventeen months. By 2020, he purchased land in Brookhaven and built an estate, as well as another hangout. In 2021, the Robloxity Police Department announced they had opened an investigation on Teddy due to a lawsuit alleging he had invited a 10 year old to one of his hangouts. The lawsuit was dismissed due to a lack of evidence, and the investigation was also dismissed. He built another “hangout” in Brookscity and multiple condominiums across Robloxia, in the next few years. By 2022, he had a net worth of over RB$6 million and growing. During this time, he started using alternate accounts on Discord to make contact with young Robloxians and to invite them over to his properties.
Legal issues
The Southern Bloxburg Valley Regional Intelligence Center (SBVRIC) received an anonymous tip in December 2022 alleging a man had contacted a young girl over Discord and invited her to a “hangout”. Police were unable to link Teddy to this encounter until 2025. However, the same account had allegedly made contact with six other children before getting banned. One of the addresses given by the account, was received by the authorities who sent in Schlepington to investigate.
Schlepington spent seven months undercover as “NoobMaster17,” posing as a 14-year-old pal-haired Robloxian to infiltrate Teddy’s private network. Over the course of the investigation, he collected evidence related to Teddy’s operations, and evidence of him talking and behaving sexually towards a minor.
By September 2024, the NBVRIC, in cooperation with the United States of Robloxia Cybercrime Task Force had planned a sting operation, and on October 13, 2024, during one of Teddy’s hangout parties, the NBVRIC arrested him and his accomplices at his Brookhaven residence and was taken to the Bloxburg Valley Federal Detention Facility’s Special Detention Unit, and a few days later, he was taken back to Robloxity. Eventually, his trial was scheduled to be in June 2025 to allow for more investigation into his allegations. On October 28, 2024 he was denied bail due to the possibility of him fleeing the country. Police entered his “hangout” in Brookscity, where they would find his contact book containing around 70 different individuals and their Discord account numbers, at least 40 of them being minors. On December 6, 2024, his wife, Kate “Kitty” Cindy was arrested in Brentwood, nearby Robloxity, where she was booked into Robloxity Valley Prison as a medium security inmate. Her trial was set for February 2025.
Trial and Conviction
On June 7th, 2025, Teddy’s trial begun in the Robloxity District Court (where he ‘officially’ lived, despite his main residence being in Brookhaven) where he was convicted of the following charges:
- Creation and distribution of explicit content to minors.
- Robux laundering and fraud.
- Circumvention of government moderation systems.
- Multiple counts of child endangerment.
He received a 12-year sentence in the Robloxity Valley Prison, with no chance of parole until 2032.
Escape
On the morning of Friday August 9, 2025, Zachery was found missing from his cell in the Special Detention Unit (SDU), when a custodian came to collect linen and noticed nobody was in the cell. Originally, the Bloxburg Police Department denied that he escaped prison, however on August 10, they acknowledged that there was an escape and after reviewing footage, said that “two security guards had been arres connection to the incident”, and stated that they could not reveal more details as of now. Zachery was apprehended near the border with Bloxanada on August 15. After that he was taken back to Bloxburg, where his sentence was officially changed to the Bloxburg Valley Federal Detention Facility. On August 30, during a press conference it was revealed that two guards had helped him escape, by having him switch clothes with another inmate, allowing him to walk out of the cell block, using a keycard to exit the building.
Recapture
On August 17, he was captured after turning himself into police at the advice of his lawyer. He requested to be transferred to the Bloxburg Valley Federal Detention Center, closer to where his wife was. Despite it being highly controversial, the move was granted by the Robloxity District Court, and was transferred to the Special Detention Block (SDB) at BVDC. On October 12, he was officially allowed to move to the less strict Maximum Security Block.
