Schlepington, (born August 3, 2003), or simply known as Schlep, is a BloxTuber, Robloxian crime fighter, and child safety advocate who had recently become the center of attention across Robloxia after being deported for “a seemingly egregious violation of the Robloxian Constitution."

Real life controversy

The Schlep v. Roblox scandal is an ongoing controversy surrounding popular YouTuber Schlep, with over 1 million subscribers, where Roblox had banned him and sent him a cease-and-desist letter threatening to take legal action if ever stepping in Roblox.

In early August 2025, Schlep was permanently banned for alleged violations of Roblox’s Terms of Service. Roblox Corporation had gave little explanation for the decision, which generated speculation among the community. It was soon rumored that Matt Kaufman, Roblox's Chief Safety Officer, was involved in banning Schlep.

The prohibition caused a major disturbance. A Roblox group named Justice for Schlep, had rapidly gained more than 85,000 supporters, and supporting petitions on Change.org and elsewhere gathered over 100,000 signatures.

Mass protests broke out within Roblox itself, with more than 200 players in a protest game named “Schlep Hangout” and other Roblox experiences like MeepCity, transforming it into protest grounds. Protests also went out into the real world, and there were reports of protests for Schlep at the Utah State Capitol. Hashtags such as #FreeSchlep and #JusticeForSchlep became popular across social media, catching on as mainstream.

The outrage soon caught the attention of governments and world markets.

Indonesia and Qatar issued country-wide bans on Roblox due to the violence and charges of corporate abuse. In the US, Louisiana and Arkansas sued Roblox on grounds of unfair business practices and moderation transparency failures. U.S. Representative Ro Khanna voiced support for Schlep and publicly challenged Roblox to restore him.

Investigative reporter Chris Hansen had got involved, indicating the severity with which the scandal was being addressed.

The scandal had also brought enormous economic hardship to Roblox Corporation. In weeks following the ban, Roblox lost an estimated $12 billion of market capitalization to investor retreat and reputation loss.

The controversy gained momentum well outside the Roblox community, with mainstream media, TikTok, and Twitter/X reporting on the scandal. Memes that went viral targeted Roblox executives — one of which showed Roblox CEO David Baszucki under the caption "Supports Pedos" — and contributed to the furore.

The Roblox YouTube community was greatly disturbed. Major YouTubers including KreekCraft became emotional in videos and livestreams, with some saying they were leaving Roblox forever in protest of Schlep's banning. Several directly attacked Roblox executives, citing a loss of trust between the company and its player base.

As of late August, this controversy has become the biggest one of the year, the biggest in Roblox’s history.

Early Life

On August 3rd, 2003, Schlep was born in Bloxas, in a village, making him a Robloxian citizen. to George Schlepington and Mary Schlepington.

When he was eight years old, he was groomed by a popular Robloxian on the country, rendering him a victim of childhood grooming himself and pushed him to the brink of self-harm. His mother would report the childhood grooming to the Robloxian government, but the Robloxian government did not take any action to deport the popular Robloxian and just gave his mother crisis resources. He then made a vow to protect other Robloxian children from grooming since was not satisfied with the government response. Since his vow, he had saved six other children from children predators who groom.

BloxTube career

Schlep rose to fame in 2023 after reporting on the controversies surrounding Alex Newtron and news other Bloxtubers were missing. His first major event was in June that year where he posted a picture on E - Doger of a mugshot of another Bloxtuber named Denis.

Downfall and Deportation

On August 10th, 2025, a week after his 22nd birthday and reaching 600,000 subscribers in his BloxTube account, he received a deportation notice stating that he violated the Robloxian Constitution, as well as a letter calling him to cease protecting Robloxian children from grooming, which effectively rendered him stateless. In an interview after his deportation was authorized, he told interviewers that he did nothing wrong. Later that day, he would reach out to the Bloxjiado Embassy in Robloxia, who granted him asylum. The next day, around 10:00 AM, he boarded a deportation flight to Massgaf International Airport.

The Bloxjiado Department of Defense’ head general gave a briefing about the situation and said that “…along with the president, we are willing to war to protect Schlep.”. The next day, members of the Spawnists threatened to plant a bomb in downtown Massagaf if the government did not re-deport Schlep. However, due to an anonymous tip, six people were arrested for making terrorist threats. Since then, the governments of Bloxia Kingdom, Bloxrazil, Bloxargentina, and Neo-Japan have expressed support for Schlep. A few hours after the speech delivered, Robloxia stated that the “deportation was necessary for the safety of all Robloxian citizens”, and they will “defend their decision by any means necessary.” On August 14, 2025, the president of Bloxjiado announced that they would be starting a special military operation against Robloxia, who had sent jets near the building where Schlep is believed to reside.

However, no new information can be obtained on him, but due to Schlep's conservatism, many robloxians who wanted his citizenship reinstated later accepted the outcome as is, especially on August 19, 2025, when the protests to get his citizenship reinstated ended.

False Defamations

Over the last couple of months, malicious actors have started to falsely slander and defame Schlepington, including Parlo, which has been litigated by two high-profile Robloxia mayors. Those false slander and defamation have reached to the point where false documents would be produced of him, littered with false allegations, including the bogus claim that Schlep had not yet publicly called out Potemer despite being a crime fighter. Other false accusations included accusing Schlepington of being fraudulent, associating him with a solicitor AceTheNarrator is currently working with, and employed by Schlep to be a voice actor for his channel.
