Bloxwood is a large town located in the city of Sacramento, Bloxburg Valley. It is primarily a mix of residential and industrial zones, with some dedicated skyscrapers for the town's small business sector. It was founded as a separate town by travellers who had left Sacramento for newer opportunities in 1866 and was incorporated as its own settlement in 1868. It was annexed by Sacramento in 1874 and has been a neighborhood of the city and a major part of City District 7 since, although some parts of the district spill into West Bloxywood. It is not to be confused with Bloxywood, which is another neighbourhood located to the east of Bloxwood. However, economic struggles derived from the elimination of Tix in 2016 caused the crime rate in the town to skyrocket from 2016 to 2017, when the city was struck by further economic struggles. This final wave of recession caused a large amount of the population to leave and move to surrounding cities with better economic opportunities. Combined with a gradual loss of infrastructure due to neglect by the local government, the city has lost its former shine and is predicted to become abandoned by 2028. The Sacramento government has announced plans for the area to be fully demolished and for it to be fully reincorporated into Sacramento as an industrial zone.

History

Not much was notable about Bloxwood's history. It was founded in 1866 as a seperate settlement from the much larger Sacramento. However in 1874, during the brief Bloxburg Valley Civil conflict, Sacramento annexed the town and reduced to a neighbourhood of the city with very limited autonomy.

After RW2, many migrations to Robloxia occurred from all around Roblox, especially from nations bordering the Telamon Ocean. Many of these migrants settled into Bloxburg Valley. The poorer nature of Bloxwood meant that many groups with little to no resources settled in the neighbourhood. As such the town has always been defined by its poorer populations.

In 2016, the town was struck by extreme economic hardships caused primarily by the removal of TIX as a valid currency by President Baszucki. This caused pre-existing gangs such as the Lenar Leopards and the Groove Street Gang to have their membership numbers skyrocket. Numerous other street gangs began to form or in some cases reconnect, and crime began to spike in the city. The most common crimes involved gun violence, gang violence and robberies, especially of the Bloxwood Central Bank Tower.

In 2017, the Guest Genocide caused the population of Bloxwood to halve practically overnight. This cause further economic and social strife, and the local government began to lose control over the town. This also caused the remaining population to begin leaving at a steady rate. While crime remained high, the population dwindled annually.

According to anthropologists and historians at Robloxia University, the town is predicted to become totally abandoned by 2028. Currently, many former settlements on the outskirts of the city have already succumbed to this. The old caravan settlement nearby to the military base has reportedly been abandoned and subsequently is now inhabited by a population of homeless nomads.
