North Bloxifornian Forest is a vast forest which is widely known to be the largest forest in North Bloxifornia, Robloxia. The forest significantly occupies the lands from around the west to central parts of the state. Two national parks are located within it, being North Bloxifornia State National Park and Robloxia National Park. The forest covers vast stretches of land and is characterized by its dense woodlands, hills, and different ecosystems, making it one of the most visited geographical areas in Robloxia. With an elevation ranging from 50 to 300 meters, the forest is home to numerous tree species, including long pines, oaks, and redwoods that have stood for centuries. Some portions of the forest are protected as national parks and conservation areas, made by environmental groups to preserve its biodiversity. However, the forest has also gained a recognition for unexplained occurrences and is home to many different myths. Since 1940, at least 204 disappearances have occured in the forest. There are some famous myths and situations that the forest is home to, such as The Lurker, The Piano Teacher Murders, Unknown Group, and multiple Sasquatch legends. These myths occur particularly around the areas near Driftwood County and near the centers of the forest.
The forest plays a crucial role in the region’s economy and culture, historically serving as a major source of timber for North Bloxifornia's early settlers in the area. By the mid-19th century, logging towns such as Blox Center, Bloxerpoint, River Junction, Sawmill Town and Bobaria were established within the forest, contributing to the expansion of trade and infrastructure. However, the rise of conservation for nature in the late 20th century led to the decline of large-scale logging operations, with several areas declared protected zones. This also led to the abandonment of Driftwood County Railway in the forest, which is now left to decay and several myths have been originated here. Today, the forest remains a popular destination for tourists, hikers, and researchers, with trails such as the Bloxifornian Highland Trail offering certain views of the canopy and surrounding valleys around the west of the forest. Strange occurrences are considered to happen at least once a month in the forest, around the deeper parts. Strange sounds which have not been heard before, too has been recorded. There is also an old road called Route 14, from 1932, which is known to be the successor of Driftwood County Railway and many situations related to the Unknown Group have occured in the road at night.

The forest hosts a variety of wildlife, including black bears, foxes, and raccoons, and many other rare species. Birdwatchers often visit the region to observe rare types of bird species, unique species of birds are often found in the area. The forest is also home to numerous rivers and lakes, such as Lake Driftwood, which plays a major role in tourism and nature. The forest connects to several smaller forests around from the eastern lands to the southeastern lands, like Pinera Forest, Smaller Bloxifornia Forest and Daroa Forest.
Geography and Climate
The North Bloxifornian Forest experiences different types of climatic conditions due to its vast size, varying elevation, and occupying a large portion of the state. The forest mainly falls under a temperate climate, characterised by mild to cool winters and warm summers. However, due to the forest’s topographical diversity, microclimates are present, resulting in certain regions experiencing different weather patterns compared to others. The western areas of the forest, which are closer to the coast, receive higher rainfall throughout the year. The central parts experience colder winters and the western parts experience more humid weathers due to its low distance from dry lands which are at the center of the state. Snowfall is rare but can occur in the higher elevations in the winter months of December and January. Fog is also a common occurrence, especially in the deeper valleys and the center of the forest, which contributes to the reputation of the forest of having strange myths and unexplainable events.
Precipitation in the North Bloxifornian Forest is different depending on location, with annual rainfall levels higher in the western parts. The months with the highest precipitation typically occur between November and March, when powerful storms from the eastern ocean bring heavy rainfall, occasionally leading to small floodings in low parts of the forest. During the summer months, from June to September, temperatures can rise significantly, sometimes reaching highs of 33°C in open areas where sunlight directly hits the forest floor. Around the west, the temperature may reach or exceed 40°C. The centers and southern parts of the forest with hills remain relatively cool.
Tourism

The North Bloxifornian Forest attracts millions of visitors annually due to its vast landscapes, hiking trails, and famous historical events. The forest is a popular destination for Robloxians who would enjoy outdoor activities, as it offers a variety of activities such as hiking, camping, birdwatching, and photography. The Bloxifornian Hill Trail and North Bloxifornian Hiking Zone are among the most frequently visited areas, providing popular views of the dense canopy and surrounding valleys. Several designated campsites exist throughout some parts of the forest, though some deeper regions are considered unsafe due to their remoteness and lack of accessibility. Rangers and local authorities recommend that visitors stick to marked trails and avoid venturing into restricted and deeper zones, especially in areas associated with myths and unexplained disappearances. Nighttime exploration is discouraged, as several reports indicate strange occurrences in the more central regions of the forest.
The Lost Zone, Driftwood Caves, and Danger Border have gained fame among people who enjoy paranormal related things. Some local tour operators also offer guided mystery tours, which explore locations associated with disappearances, ghost stories, and the legend of The Lurker. However, others warn against going to these regions, citing past incidents where visitors and locals have reportedly vanished or experienced unusual encounters. Aside from myths, the forest's lakes and rivers, such as Lake Driftwood, play a crucial role in tourism and are peaceful areas for fishing and kayaking. Around the northwest of the forest, national parks, including North Bloxifornia State National Park and Robloxia National Park, provide well-maintained facilities for tourists and also provide picnic areas on medium sized patches of grass located within those parts of the forest. The forest has also been featured in numerous documentaries, films, and books, often highlighting its sense of isolation found within its untouched territories. Despite the unsettling myths and reported disappearances, North Bloxifornian Forest remains one of the most visited natural sites in North Bloxifornia, with an estimated of two million visitors annually exploring its areas.
History
The North Bloxifornian Forest has a long and rich history connected with the development of North Bloxifornia. Settlers in the region, dating back to the mid-19th century, relied heavily on the forest's timber resources, which played a crucial role in the state's economy. The forest's accessibility and abundance of trees made it the primary location for timber and for the establishment of logging towns such as Blox Center, Bloxerpoint, and Bobaria, which developed in the later half of the 1800s. These towns were essential places for the timber industry, supplying a significant amount of wood. As the timber trade sparked, the surrounding forests began to shrink, and the landscape started to change in certain areas, causing many problems.
The rise of industrialization and the demand for timber during the 19th century led to the construction of the Driftwood County Railway, by Henry Dawson. This railway connected the logging towns, villages and large mills within the forest, supplying and transporting timber to far away urban centers located within the state. The railway was crucial to the expansion of trade and infrastructure in the region, allowing convenient movement of raw materials. However, by the mid-20th century, the decline of the timber industry and companies like Southern Timber Company and the rise of conservation plans caused significant changes. Driftwood County Railway shut down in 1962 as many other wood companies shut down and moved. That caused the railway to not gain much economy. In the 1960s, many preservation areas were made in the forest. This led to large timber companies to lower down.
Around the mid 20th century, the forest became home to many myths, mysteries, and unexplainable situations. The strange and unexplained occurrences that have been reported throughout the years, such as the sudden disappearances and the infamous and presumed sightings of The Lurker, have made the area more popular to visit. These events have contributed to the forest's reputation as a place of mystery and danger. Despite its mysteries, the forest remains a popular place to visit and is considered to be a very peaceful area.
Transportation and Accessibility
Despite its vast size, the North Bloxifornian Forest has a low amount of major roads due to its dense woodlands, rugged terrain, and protected areas that limit large-scale infrastructure development. Most visitors access the forest through a network of smaller highways and rural roads connecting to nearby towns and settlements. One of the most notable roads is Forest Route 15, which was made after, Route 14 Driftwood. Forest Route 15, runs through the southern to southwestern portions of the forest. Route 14 Driftwood is still used, however it is known to be significantly empty at night due to its small size. Route 14 was constructed in 1932 as a replacement for the railway, Driftwood County Railway, the road was meant to provide access to former logging sites and growing settlements. However, with the decline of the timber industry, Route 14 has become one of the least-traveled roads in the region at present. It remains in use primarily by locals and visitors who explore the deeper parts of the forest.
Over the years, Route 14 has gained a reputation for strange occurrences and mysterious disappearances, with some travelers reporting unexplained sightings, flickering headlights, and strange figures standing along the roadside at night. The road’s isolation and lack of consistent maintenance have contributed to its unsettling atmosphere, with overgrown trees and dense fog often making nighttime travel especially hazardous. Apart from Route 14, other roads provide limited access to certain areas of the forest. Highway 225, located to the west, serves as one of the main entry points for those traveling to North Bloxifornia State National Park. This highway is the most developed highway in the region and is a short lined highway. However, due to heavy rainfall in the region, portions of the highway at the forest areas are prone to floodings. Forest Route 9, is a small road that cuts through not too far away from the central parts of the forest, and is the deepest road in the forest. This road connects several hiking trails and valleys.
Further south, Bloxerpoint Road links the small town of Bloxerpoint to various campsites and historical sites in the forest. This road, originally a dirt trail used by 19th-century settlers, was paved in the 1960s due to the growing tourism. However, due to years of not proper maintenance, parts of the road have become cracked and uneven, making it challenging for certain vehicles to navigate. Old Timber Road, an abandoned path deep within the southeastern regions of the forest, was once a major route for logging companies but has since been overtaken by nature. Although no longer officially maintained, some off-road vehicles and hikers still use it, though it is considered dangerous due to fallen trees.
Public transportation is almost nonexistent in the forest, with no major bus or rail services operating in the area. Most visitors rely on private vehicles or guided tours to explore the forest, as taxis and sharing services are rare in the remote regions. Some local tour companies like All day Bloxifornias, provide shuttle services from nearby towns, mainly riding tourists to small national parks or known landmarks. However, access to deeper, unexplored sections remains extremely difficult, with some regions only reachable by foot or off-road vehicles. Cell service is unreliable in many areas, particularly in the central and near central parts parts, making it necessary for visitors to carry proper navigation equipment and emergency supplies. Many sections of the forest remain unexplored and untouched.
Wildlife
The North Bloxifornian Forest is home to a vast and diverse range of wildlife, making it one of the most ecologically significant areas in North Bloxifornia. The forest’s dense woodlands, high hills, and valleys provide good habitats for numerous species of mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. Among the most commonly found animals are black bears, foxes, deer, raccoons, and bobcats, which live in the forest’s rich environment. Mountain lions are highly rare and Robloxians have only seen it a few times in history. It is believed that they have a hgiher chance to be spotted in the more isolated parts of the region. Additionally, the North Bloxifornian Bird, a species native to the area, is considered rare but has been reported in certain parts of the forest. Many of these mammals play a crucial role in maintaining the region’s nature and also helps in tourism.
Birdlife in the forest is very abundant, however not in the isolated regions. They are mostly located at the outskirts of the forest with numerous species making their home among the tall trees and open clearings. Owls, hawks, and woodpeckers are frequently spotted, while migratory birds such as warblers and swallows pass through the area during seasonal changes. The forest is also known for its rare bird species. Numerous of birdwatchers and people who would enjoy wildlife and nature, often visit the forest to search for certain unique species, making it a popular destination for ornithological studies and photography.
Aquatic life are located within the forest’s lakes, rivers, and wetlands, including Lake Driftwood, one of the largest bodies of water in the forest's area. These waterways are home to a variety of fish species such as trout, bass, and catfish, as well as amphibians like frogs and salamanders. Beavers and otters are also common in the area. The presence of these aquatic species also raises the awareness of the importance of water bodies within the area towards certain institutions. The wetlands are scattered throughout the forest.
The North Bloxifornian Forest is also home to various insects and smaller creatures, many of them contribute to the region. Butterflies, dragonflies, and bees are common pollinators, supporting the growth of plant life and specific flowers that are located throughout the forest. Additionally, the region’s underground habitats are occupied by burrowing animals such as badgers, moles, and various rodent species. While most of the wildlife in the forest is considered to be harmless, some venomous species, including certain snakes and spiders, also reside in the area. There are also wolves residing near the central parts of the forest.
Most of these species, due to the vastness of the forest and its relatively untouched state, have continued to evolve despite the gradual rise of human activities. Conservation solutions have been made in terms of preserving the wildlife populations and maintaining the balance of the ecosystem in the forest. These include the protected areas like North Bloxifornia State National Park and Robloxia National Park that help protect these species from habitat loss and human interference. Yet, the myths and legends, like stories of mysterious creatures such as The Lurker, further builds up its reputation as a place of both nature and unexplained phenomena.

Myths and Events
The North Bloxifornian Forest has been a home of numerous myths, strange sightings, and unsolved disappearances, particularly in the deeper regions. Since 1940, over 200 reported cases of missing persons have been documented, with no clear explanations for many of them. Some of the most well-known myths associated with the forest include:
- The Lurker – A dark, humanoid figure allegedly seen in the deep sections of the forest, described as having long limbs and red eyes. Some believe it’s some sort of entity. This creature has been caught at night multiple times since the 1970s. During the early 1970s, explorer Joe Green took a picture which was presumably the lurker. The image gained widespread recognition across the state.
- The Piano Teacher Murders – The following event is not supernatural or a myth, but a serious event where multiple kids went missing and were later found in a house of a piano teacher, Robert Evans Smith, after his last series of killings where about five kids escaped. The house was located several miles away from the forest's center and is now abandoned.
- The Unknown Group – A rumor where a group of figures would stop passing by vehicles in the empty streets at night and try to enter them. This has been caught four times on a dashcam, in 2017, 2019, 2023, and 2024.
- Sasquatch - A large, muscular, and bipedal robloxian or ape-like creature covered in black, dark brown, or dark reddish hair. Anecdotal descriptions estimate a height of roughly 1.8–2.7 m (6-9 ft), with some descriptions having the creatures standing as tall as 3.0–4.6 m (10-15 ft). Some alleged observations describe Bigfoot as more robloxian than ape, particularly in regard to the face. It is regarded as one of the most, if not, most famous myths across Roblox.
