Sawmill Town is a small village that is located in the southern region of North Bloxifornia, Robloxia. It stands in Driftwood County and is located within the dense forests of North Bloxifornian Forest. It has a population of 2,011 as of the 2024 census. The village is known historically for its strong ties to the timber industry, the town once had a much larger population during its peak in the early 1900s, with over 5,000 residents.
The town was established in 1871, when a large sawmill was built along Blox Lake, attracting workers and settlers to the area. The town relied on the sawmill for economy, providing timber for both local use and export. Many families moved to the town from various parts of the region in order to gain employment in the sawmills or the associated lumber camps. As the 20th century progressed, the town began to decline. By the mid-1900s, several factors contributed to the decline of Sawmill Town’s prosperity. The depletion of nearby timber resources and restriction on certain parts of the forest, created numerous of problems. Many of its population moved to other large settlements such as South City by the late 20th century.
