The 2026 Roblox Duel Cup is the 21st edition of the Roblox Duel Cup, the triennial Roblox championship for knife-revolver dueling organized by Roblox Revolver Dueling (RRD). The tournament took place from January 1, 2025 to February 1, 2025. It was hosted in Bloxjiado, this being the second time Bloxjiado hosted the competition, having to do so in 1990. This will be the biggest competition in costs, having beat the 2023 edition by 60 million. Bloxjiado Duel Council has announced that the Rushiloxian Gladiator Stadium will be the main venue for the competition. Dahanani Ancient Duel Park will be another venue too. Two Rivers Track and Field in Massagaf was in a conference about whether it should be demolished or not. Bloxjiado made the decision to not demolish it for now. The tournament has a total of 26 matches.
Ro-Sweden is the defending champion, having won its 4th title, and automatically qualified. Bloxjiado automatically qualified due to being the host.
The bid deadline was on January 18, 2019 (4 months before the 2019 edition). Bloxjiado submitted its bid on November 24, 2018. It was supported by then president of Bloxjiado, Voldex Bloke Jr.
Ro-Indi and Israblox did not compete in the qualification process, due to Bloxjiado not recognizing the countries. Chicken Republic also did not compete, due to leaving RRD after complaints made by the Chicken Republic Duel Association, which was dissolved in 2024.
Attempted Teams
For some bizarre reason, all 15 of those countries attempted to apply themselves to compete in the qualification process, but unfortunately, their applications were partially complete as of the deadline to compete in the qualification process, therefore, they will not be processed and instead referred to compete in the next edition of the Roblox Duel Cup. This broke the record for the most incomplete applications processed by the Roblox Duel Governing Body for one edition of the Roblox Duel Cup. Since July 23, 2025 was the deadline, these countries had submitted their applications in July 22, when the qualified teams submitted applications on December 21, 2024. It would take about 5 months to process their applications.
In protest against the tournament's organizational chaos, the Telamon Islands national duel team displayed the flags of all the countries that were unable to qualify on their tournament uniforms, along with a small inscription reading "One for all, all for one". This sparked a wave of sympathy from those countries towards Telamon Islands, though it was met with criticism from the organization, and it remains unclear whether it will be penalized. The RRD threatened to place sanctions on Telamon Islands if they continued protesting and if they boycotted the tournament cause it would be a disruption of the tournament. The team later on stopped the boycott threats and protests after this warning.

Controversies
New format
The new format sparked controversy. Previously, the Roblox Duel Cup had 33 members, but in the 2026 edition, the number was reduced to 18. Additionally, six-team groups were added. The new quarterfinals, which became a kind of league stage, sparked even more controversy. It was argued that it was unfair that some teams would play two matches and others only one, and that they would be treated equally when calculating points. The points system was even more controversial. The previously used system of 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, and 0 for a loss was replaced by a completely incomprehensible points system. RRD never revealed what was taken into account when calculating points, leaving some teams feeling disadvantaged.
Shortly after the quarterfinals, the Telamon Islands Dueling Association announced it would hold its own tournament in May 2026 for teams disappointed by the 2026 Roblox Duel Cup and those unable to qualify due to organizational disruptions. The RRD supported the idea. However, immediately after the 2026 Roblox Duel Cup final, when the tournament drew further criticism, the association announced it would sanction the tournament and issued a warning to the Telamon Islands Dueling Association. The association members believed the warning was unlawful, as the 2026 Nations Duel Cup was intended as a friendly tournament, not organized by the RRD. Consequently, the tournament was announced to proceed anyway. The dueling association's stance was supported by most of the associations participating in the 2026 Nations Duel Cup, some of whom accused the RRD of corruption.
Corruption
RRD was accused of corruption at the tournament. Some suggested that the tournament was rigged to benefit Bloxjiado, with additional funding provided to Netherblox so that Bloxjiado could have its desired final. Some pointed out that a team's points could be determined not by performance, but by how much they paid RRD. This sparked widespread controversy. The RRD swore that they didn’t rig to benefit Bloxjiado.
