The 2029 Roblox Duel Cup, also known as the Roblox Duel Cup for Keviabloxia, will be the 22nd edition of the Roblox Duel Cup, the triennial Roblox championship for knife-revolver dueling organized by Roblox Revolver Dueling (RRD). The tournament is largely expected to take place from January 1, 2029 to February 1, 2029, provided there are no global wars nor pandemics ongoing as of the opening night (a global war ongoing as of January 1, 2029 would cancel the tournament, whereas a pandemic ongoing as of January 1, 2029 would postpone the tournament by one year, as decided by the RRD after it decided to adopt a postponing/cancellation plan in one post-bidding conference). Normally, it will be hosted in whatever country won the bidding process on January 18, 2022, namely Keviabloxia, but due to Tovokian Federation-Keviabloxia tensions, involving the thinning out of the Tovokian Federation embassy in Keviabloxia, causing Robloxian and Keviabloxian officials to view as a feint, or perhaps a potential clue, regarding a possible invasion that would later become true on February 24, 2022 (Keviabloxian time), and it being part of a broader geopolitical landscape, the bidding process for the host had to be redone as officials feared that it would be likely that the invasion will continue all the way to January 1, 2029, when war historians projected the country of Keviabloxia will be fully invaded, but some historians predicted an optimistic ending in which Keviabloxia was restored to what it was back in January 18, 2022, with some historians even predicting an Keviabloxian reversal in which Keviabloxia invades the Tovokian Federation and a full Keviabloxian reversal in which Keviabloxia has fully invaded the Tovokian Federation. This was the first time a planned host of the competition was invaded, and resulted in another post-bidding conference to decide what to do in case a host of the competition was invaded. One suggestion was to have the runner up be the host, in which it was accepted by a majority of the planners to be put on the RRD rulebook. Unfortunately, the runner up was not available for comment due to it busy invading Keviabloxia, therefore, all the remaining six countries decided to host the event instead, becoming the first Roblox Duel Cup to be hosted by more than one country. It is projected to be the biggest competition in costs due to inflation. The duel councils have announced that its 18 gladiator stadiums will be the main venue and seventeen backup venues for the competition. Meanwhile, the three gladiator stadiums Keviabloxia announced will be the main venue and two backup venues for the competition were seized when the Tovokian forces invaded them all, annexing all of them into a part of their federation.

This cup saw the automatic qualification of Netherblox, Telamon Islands, Bloxjiado, Equablox, and Bloxanada. It also saw the debut of Labublox. It also was the first cup that saw the six continents of the Roblox planet qualify. Perhaps the most notable instance was that on January 12, 2026, 15 countries simultaneously got qualified in one day, marking this the most countries qualified in a single day. As of January 12, 2026, 20 countries have been qualified, and geopolitical talks are ongoing in Ro-Indi and Israblox to have them qualify as well, making it the largest tournament in terms of qualified countries since the 2023 edition assuming no new countries submit qualification applications until December 31, 2028.

Bloxjiado is the defending champions, having won the 2026 edition.

Bids

The bid deadline was on January 18, 2022 (18 months before the 2023 edition). Keviabloxia submitted its bid on November 24, 2021. It was supported by the president of Keviabloxia at that time. Keviabloxia's bid attracted a record-breaking seven bids from the countries that border Keviabloxia due to the fear that Keviabloxia might be invaded, even an ironic bid from the invader itself: Tovokian Federation, making the most number of rounds a bidding process had to be used to determine a host country, at seven rounds.

While Tovokian Federation won the bidding process, the RRD tried to contact the Tovokian Federation to select its three gladiator stadiums to serve as a main venue and two backup venues, but the country was unavailable to comment due to it busy invading Keviabloxia. Therefore, the third place winner of the bidding process was contacted, and Ro-Poland did what experts called a "robloxianitarian" move of Roblox-wide generosity: Ro-Poland would help Keviabloxia survive the invasion by having Ro-Poland and all the winners behind Ro-Poland host the 2029 Roblox Duel Cup, and profits made during the event would be donated to Keviabloxia. Therefore, this edition of the Roblox Duel Cup would also be named Roblox Duel Cup for Keviabloxia, making the first time profits made out of a Roblox Duel Cup event would be donated to help a invaded country recover.
