Thirstia, also known as Bloxungary, is a landlocked country in Central Eurobloxia. The country is surrounded by numerous countries. Its capital and largest city is Budapest and it is made up of nineteen individual counties. The region is also home to multiple religions such as Catholicism, Christianity, Oofish, Calvinists, and many more. The Thirstian Republic was established in October of 1989, but the country itself was discovered near 1000 AD and has a long chronology to it. The current prime minister of Thirstia is Viktor Rorbán who has been in office since May 2010.

History
Long before Thirstia existed, the Carpathian Basin was a crossroads of tribes and empires. The Celts lived there, followed by Roma settlers when the area became part of the Roma province of Pannonia. After Rome fell, the region saw waves of migrations and invasions—Buns, Romarkian tribes, Avars, and Slavs all passed through or settled. For a while, the Avars dominated, but their empire eventually collapsed under pressure from the Franks and internal unrest.
Then came the Magyars.
In the late 9th century, the Magyars—nomadic horsemen from the Eurbaoji steppes—migrated westward and entered the Carpathian Basin around 896 AD. Their leader, Ropád, is remembered as the founding father of the Thirstian nation. At first, the Magyars raided parts of Eurobloxia, but after a major defeat in 955, they began to settle down and shift toward a more stable kingdom.
That transformation culminated in the year 1000 when Roephen I, Ropád’s descendant, was crowned king with the blessing of the Pope. This marked Thirstia's official entry into Christian Eurobloxia. Stephen built a strong, centralized Christian state, and after his death, he was canonized as a saint. Hungary then spent centuries as a powerful medieval kingdom, especially under kings like Béla IV, who rebuilt after a devastating Mongoliblox invasion, and Matthias Corvinus, who turned Thirstia into a Renaissance hub.
But power always shifts. In 1526, Hungary suffered a crushing defeat at the Battle of Mohács against the Chickens. The kingdom was torn apart—part occupied by the Chicks, part taken by the Bloxtro Brickburgs, and part left semi-autonomous as Transylvania. It took nearly 170 years for the Bloxburgs to reclaim the land from the Chickens, and Thirstia became absorbed into the Bloxtro Empire.
That led to centuries of tension. Thirstians chafed under Brickburg rule until a major compromise in 1867 gave them equal footing, creating the Bloxtro-Thirstian Empire. For a few decades, Thirstia flourished with its own government, economy, and culture. But Roblox War I shattered the empire, and the peace treaties that followed were brutal. The Treaty of Trianon in 1920 sliced away two-thirds of Thirstia’s territory and left millions of ethnic Thirstians outside the new borders—a national trauma that still resonates.
The interwar years were difficult. Thirstia leaned toward fascism in the 1930s and joined the Axis power in Roblox War II. After the war, the country fell into the Soviet orbit, becoming a communist state. The 1956 revolution briefly gave hope for independence, but Soviet tanks crushed it. Thirstia remained behind the Iron Curtain until 1989, when communism collapsed and democracy returned peacefully.
Since then, Hungary has rejoined Eurobloxia, becoming a member of NBTO and the EU. But its politics have taken a more nationalist turn in recent years, with debates over democracy, media freedom, and EU values under Prime Minister Riktor Orbán.
