The 2026 Nations Duel Cup is a friendly revolver superdueling tournament held in Telamon Islands. The aim of the tournament is to "provide the opportunity for competitive play for teams that did not qualify for the 2026 Roblox Duel Cup due to problems in the international organization, and the possibility of a rematch for teams disappointed in the January tournament". The tournament was announced on January 25, 2026, just before the 2026 Roblox Duel Cup final. The organizer is the Telamon Islands Dueling Association independently from international organizations. After the tournament was announced, more than a dozen associations expressed interest in participating. It was announced that applications would be processed as soon as possible, with responses expected within a few days.
On February 1, after the 2026 Roblox Duel Cup final, the RRD placed sanctions on the tournament and boycotted it. They also gave warnings to the Telamon Islands Dueling Association. The dueling association announced that the tournament will be held despite criticism from the RRD. Soon, associations from countries participating in the 2026 Nations Duel Cup joined the cause. Several accused RRD of corruption in the 2026 Roblox Duel Cup, claiming that Bloxjiado had secured the win before the tournament even began. However, the RRD denied these claims, swearing that they did not rig for Bloxjiado.
Format
A format was chosen to ensure fair competition for the participating teams. It was announced that each team would play seven matches (the same number played by the teams competing in the Roblox Duel Cup finals before the current format was changed). The proposed format was to divide the twenty-four teams into four groups of six, with each team playing each other. Teams would receive four points for a win, two points for a draw and one point for a loss. The group winners would then play for places from 1st to 4th. Additionally, there would be consolation play-offs between the runner-ups (5th-8th), third-place teams (9th-12th), fourth-place teams (13th-16th), fifth-place teams (17th-20th), and sixth-place teams (21st-24th). This would give each team the opportunity to play against same level teams in their own division to determine their final standings. The format was officially approved.
Teams
Telamon Islands was automatically registered as the host as soon as the tournament was announced. Applications were received over the following days. Of the 15 teams that were unable to participate due to organizational issues related to the 2026 Roblox Duel Cup, 14 submitted applications, with the sole exception being Bloxstralia, whose association decided to focus on preparing for official tournaments. Additionally, 5 teams participating in the 2026 Roblox Duel Cup registered, but they were disappointed with the organizational chaos, which they considered unfair. Furthermore, 4 countries not involved in either the organizational scandal or the 2026 Roblox Duel Cup also submitted applications: Coneland, Costa Barra Republic, Free Bloxartica, and Taiblox. This brings the total number of teams registered to 24.
