Pokémon (known in English as Pokémon the Series) is a Japanese-American anime television series, part of The Pokémon Company's Pokémon media franchise, which premiered on TV Tokyo in April 1997.
Storyline
The anime follows Ash Ketchum, a young Pokémon Trainer who dreams of being a Pokémon Master. Joined with his partner Pikachu and a group made of his friends, now Misty and Brock again as they travel together through the various regions of the Pokémon world and competing in various Pokémon-battling tournaments known as the Pokémon League.
