History
Sacramento was founded in 1776 by early Robloxian settlers who established a fortified settlement near what later became the Golden Gate. The area was chosen for its ease of aaccess access to waterways and trade routes. The settlement grew around a religious mission named in honor of the Sacramento, which became a focal point for early governance, agriculture, and cultural exchange. Throughout the late 18th and early 19th centuries, Sacramento developed as a small but important outpost connecting inland regions of Northern Bloxburg Valley with coastal trade networks. Population growth became faster in the mid 19th century due to increased migration and regional disputes. Sacramento later became a major administrative and financial location which led to its designation as the capital of the State of Bloxburg Valley, in 1854. The city became important politically during thus time period. Beginning from the late 19th century, Sacramento experienced significant urbanisation and modernisation, especially with the increase of banking and industrial districts. Throughout the early 20th century, the city experienced economic fluctuations, natural disasters, and social unrest, but managed to comfortably grow after Roblox War II. By the late 20th century, Sacramento was already known as a notable cultural, financial, and transportation center of Bloxburg Valley.
