The Sacramento Bay Area or colloquially called "the Bay" is a metropolitan region surrounding Sacramento Bay, Robloxia.
This area includes large cities such as San Bloxington, Sacramento, Neo-Sacramento, Murtlegand, Byron, Oaks along with smaller urban and rural areas. In its entirety, the Bay consists of nine counties, 100 cities and 7000 sq. mi. The counties are: Santa Martha, Central Costa, Naranjo, Sacramento, Santa Clarax, and Murtle.
As of July 2006, the Bay Area had 7.2 million inhabitants. It is one of the wealthiest regions in Robloxia, according to the Robloxia Census Bureau, boasting the highest median household income in the nation at over $65,000 per year per capita. The Bay Area contains many cities, towns, military bases, airports, national, state and regional parks, linked by a massive network of roads, highways, railroads, bridges, tunnels and commuter trains.
While Sacramento is the cultural center and most recognized city in the Area, San Bloxington is the largest city, surpassing Sacramento for the first time in history since the 1990 census. In addition to having the highest median household income in the nation, the Bay Area has the highest per capita income of any metropolitan area in Robloxia and is also one of the most politically liberal areas in the nation. The standard of living is also one of the highest in the nation.
