Last edited: 6/5/2026

This code of conduct is effective as of this last edit date. By editing or posting in Robloxiapedia, you agree to the code of conduct rules.

This page is about the user code of conduct. For the staff code of conduct, see Project:Staff Code of Conduct.

The code of conduct of Robloxiapedia apply to all users and establish a foundation for interactions within the community. To ensure that everyone feels welcome, safe, and enjoyed on Robloxiapedia, we kindly ask all users and staff to adhere to these guidelines. If you have any questions or concerns regarding those guidelines, please do not hesitate to contact our staff team.

Disclaimer: This wiki is operated by volunteers and does not have any official connection to the management of Roblox or the Roblox Wiki (which is separate from us). We are unable to provide in-game items, activate promotional codes, or assist with ban inquiries. Consequently, please do not reach out to Roblox's staff regarding issues related to our wiki and its content; any complaints should be directed to our local staff team. Additionally, punishments imposed by Roblox do not apply to this wiki, and sanctions from this wiki do not affect Roblox.

Violations of these policies may result in sanctions, including warnings, temporary blocks, permanent bans, or other administrative actions. We reserve the right to remove content that violates those policies.

Behaviour policies

Following rules and staff instructions

  • Editors must follow the Terms of Use, Fandom's Terms of Use and Community Guidelines established by Fandom, in addition to all policies by Robloxiapedia. Exemptions on the basis of lacking of awareness or understanding of a policy are prohibited.
  • Users must also meet all age requirements established by Fandom. Users must be at least 13 years of age to use the platform in most of North America and worldwide for editing articles, or 16 years of age in California and the European Economic Area (excluding the United Kingdom), unless otherwise permitted by Fandom's policies or applicable law.
  • Staff members may issue instructions, requests, or directives in order to enforce policies, resolve disputes, maintain community order, or address situations not explicitly covered by written rules. Such instructions must be followed. You have the right to debate with staff members on what you believe is unreasonable, contradictory to established policy, or otherwise improper.
  • Any user caught gaming the system will be subject to moderation action and is strictly prohibited. Attempting to evade, undermine, or circumvent rules via loopholes or otherwise, is prohibited.

Note: The following tables may be used by Robloxiapedia staff members to create professional block notices. The block reasons will be reformed soon to allow for such professional construction to occur.

Treating others with respect

  • All users must treat one another respectfully and contribute to a welcoming, collaborative environment.

  • Discrimination based on race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic is strictly prohibited. Robloxiapedia staff has zero tolerance for users who edit or post hate speech, derogatory remarks, slurs, or content that promotes prejudice, exclusion, or hostility toward individuals or groups.
  • Users are expected to respect personal boundaries and refrain from behaviour that creates an unsafe, hostile, or unwelcoming environment. Acting and assuming in good faith

  • Robloxiapedia operates on the assumption that all contributors, unless proven otherwise, are editing in good faith (i.e. attempting to improve the encyclopedia). Most mistakes made in good faith should be addressed through guidance and feedback. However, if an contributor is not acting in good faith, they could be subject to punishment.

  • Harassing, intimidating, or targeting other users as well as disrupting discussions or collaborative processes is forbidden.

    • Please note that Robloxiapedia has an active anti-raid protection known as Abuse Filter that can be activated if a raid is planned to occur or is ongoing. A raid is defined as a group of two or more vandals who vandalize Robloxiapedia continuously and may stop if a demand by them is met.
  • Any attempt of deceiving another person, is not allowed. This includes any impersonation, or any attempt to scam another user.

User privacy and safety

  • Users must respect the privacy and personal security of others at all times.
  • Posting, collecting, sharing, distributing, soliciting, or attempting to obtain another person's personal information without their consent is strictly prohibited. Users may not use Robloxiapedia to facilitate, encourage, coordinate, or threaten the disclosure of private information, regardless of whether the information is accurate, publicly available elsewhere, or obtained through third parties.
  • Users must not pressure others into revealing personal information, nor may they publish screenshots, messages, or other materials that expose private details without permission.

Staff and Community expectations

  • Only staff members can issue official warnings, blocks, bans, or other formal moderation actions.
  • Users are encouraged to help maintain a positive environment by reminding others of relevant policies, offering guidance, and reporting potential violations when necessary. However, regular users should not mini-moderate. This means they should never act as staff members, threaten disciplinary action, or attempt to enforce rules on behalf of staff.
    • The moderators in Robloxiapedia will always have some icon on their profile picture location. If they do not have an icon, they are not staff members. If you receive a moderator-like message from those users, please inform Robloxiapedia staff immediately.
  • Reports should be made in good faith and based on concerns about policy violations. False, misleading, or malicious reports submitted with the intent to harass, intimidate, retaliate against, or otherwise harm another user are prohibited and may result in moderation action if it is known who is falsely reporting posts.

B5.3 Abuse of authority

Content policies

Appropriate content

  • Content must remain appropriate for a general audience and comply with all applicable Fandom policies and community standards.
  • Content may not be pornographic material, excessively graphic content, hate content, promotion of self-harm, or promotion of illegal activity, as well as content violating Fandom policy.
    • Content violating Fandom policy is never allowed. Pursuant to this, we will remove any content that violates Fandom policy. You may post such content in other places (just not in Fandom), but please be wary of the policies that govern content.
  • Content that is in violation of any law or encourages criminal conduct or any illegal activity is not allowed to be posted.
  • Uploading hate speech, including slurs and dog whistles, or inciting violence is forbidden.
  • Swearing in Robloxiapedia is only limited to posts, and in moderation. Please note that any swears should follow the Robloxiapedia Code of Conduct as written.
    • Edits and pages should not contain swears. Please note that we may remove any swears from pages. This is to comply with Robloxiapedia's no adult content policy, enacted on February 2026 due to Fandom staff concerned about the encyclopedia's adult content.

Fanon and Fictional content

  • Robloxiapedia is a fanon encyclopedia dedicated to documenting and expanding fictional content related to the Robloxia setting and its community-created lore. Contributors are encouraged to be creative and develop original ideas, stories, and worldbuilding elements that enrich the encyclopedia.
  • Because Robloxiapedia is a fan-created project, fictional content is welcome and is the main wiki's purpose. Contributors have the right to explore different interpretations of Robloxia, create entirely new narratives, or expand upon existing fanon concepts, provided that their work remains constructive and appropriate for the community.
  • However, all fanon content must be presented as fictional. Articles, lore, and other contributions should not and are not intended to represent themselves as official Roblox information, real-world facts, or authoritative sources. Users should avoid creating content that is deliberately deceptive, misleading, or designed to confuse readers about its fictional nature.
  • Some articles may have real content, known as contracted articles.
    • A contracted article is any article that shows up on the first results of any search engine AND the official source creators must have expressed genuine concern for the page's content being fictionalized.

C2.2 Falsely claiming official status

Copyright and Attribution

Main page: Robloxiapedia:Legal

  • Users may not copy, reproduce, or import content from external sources including Robloxiapedia without proper permission, attribution, or a compatible license. This includes text, images, audio, video, templates, and other forms of media, including fictional and real.
  • Contributors are responsible for ensuring that any material they add complies with applicable copyright laws and licensing requirements under Fandom's copyright policies and CC-BY-SA 3.0, including fair use. Content that infringes on copyright, violates licensing terms, or lacks the necessary permissions may be removed without notice.
Code Action Information
C3.1 Copyright infringement
C3.2 Uploading uncredited content
C3.3 Plagiarism

Artificial intelligence (AI bots or LLMs)

  • AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grammarly, Perplexity, NotebookLM, and similar services may be used to assist with researching, drafting, rewriting, summarizing, proofreading, translating, and organizing content intended for publishing on Robloxiapedia. Automated tools and bots may also be used for maintenance tasks. Please note that bots should not violate community guidelines and require staff approval before they can be deployed.
  • The use of AI is intended to supplement human contributors but not replace them. Such users must remain fully responsible for every edit, article, file description, discussion post, template, or other contribution they publish, regardless of whether it was created entirely by a human, generated by an AI system, or produced through a combination of both.
  • Users should exercise caution when using AI for factual claims, historical information, citations, quotations, statistics, lore documentation, or other material that requires a high degree of accuracy. AI systems can make mistakes, invent sources, misinterpret information, or present inaccurate statements with confidence. Editors are expected to verify information before publishing it.
  • The mass creation of low-quality, unreviewed, spam-like, repetitive, or misleading AI-generated content is prohibited. Using AI to evade policies, disrupt the encyclopedia, impersonate others, generate harassment, manipulate discussions, or otherwise violate community standards is also prohibited.
Code Action Information
C4.1 Harmful AI-generated content
C4.2 Publishing unreviewed AI content
C4.3 Fabricated information generated by AI

Editing policies

Constructive editing

  • All edits should improve the encyclopedia and are expected to be constructive, accurate, and made in good faith. Contributors should aim to enhance the quality, reliability, and usefulness of Robloxiapedia for all readers. Edits that intentionally disrupt articles, mislead readers, or otherwise undermine the encyclopedia's purpose are not permitted.
  • All contributions must comply with the Manual of Style, applicable content guidelines, and all other Robloxiapedia policies. Editors are encouraged to review relevant policies before making substantial changes to articles.
Code Action Information
E1.1 Non-constructive editing
E1.2 Deliberate disruption
E1.3 Violating the Manual of Style

Vandalism

  • Vandalism refers to any deliberate action intended to damage, disrupt, or reduce the quality, accuracy, or usability of Robloxiapedia. Such behavior undermines the purpose of the wiki and may result in warnings, editing restrictions, blocks, or permanent bans depending on the severity of the offense.
  • Vandalism includes uploading destructive files on Robloxiapedia, starting a raid, threatening to do such actions as a means to retaliate against a sanction on the wiki, tampering with templates, categories, files, or other site infrastructure to cause disruption, blanking pages or removing large amounts of content without a valid reason, as well as many others.
  • Creating an account for the primary purpose of vandalizing Robloxiapedia, evading sanctions, or concealing disruptive activity is prohibited. Such accounts, commonly referred to as puppet or sockpuppet accounts, are forbidden.
Code Action Information
E2.1 Vandalism
E2.2 Page blanking
E2.3 Mass disruption

Edit warring

  • Edit Warring, or an edit war, occurs when two or more editors repeatedly undo, revert, or overwrite each other's contributions to a page instead of working together to resolve a disagreement.
  • When disagreements arise regarding page content, users are expected to discuss the matter on the relevant discussion page, message wall, forum, or other communication channels before making further edits. Editors should explain their reasoning, provide evidence or sources when applicable, and attempt to reach a consensus.
  • Repeatedly reverting edits to force a preferred version of a page, especially after objections have been raised, may be considered edit warring regardless of who is correct. Users should avoid escalating disputes through continued reversions and instead seek assistance from staff if a consensus cannot be reached.
  • If an edit war is detected, staff may intervene to prevent further disruption. Depending on the circumstances, staff may temporarily protect the affected page, instruct users to discuss the dispute, or take moderation action against those involved. In cases involving lore-related disagreements where multiple interpretations can reasonably coexist, staff may attempt to do a compromise by combining information.
Code Action Information
E3.1 Edit warring
E3.2 Refusing discussion

Page ownership

  • No user owns an article, except for drafts. Editors may improve, expand, update, or revise articles regardless of who originally created them. Robloxiapedia is a collaborative project, and all content is maintained by the community.
  • Users must not attempt to claim control over articles or discourage constructive contributions from others. Examples of article ownership behavior include repeatedly reverting good-faith edits without discussion, placing notices or messages that effectively deter other editors from contributing, adding categories or templates that imply personal ownership of pages, or creating article structures that suggest certain content is reserved for specific users.
  • Disagreements regarding article content should be resolved through discussion, consensus, and adherence to community guidelines rather than ownership. Users who engage in article ownership behavior may be subject to moderation actions, with the severity of any sanction depending on the nature, frequency, and impact of the conduct.

Code Action Information
E4.1 Claiming ownership of pages
E4.2 Preventing constructive edits

Cults

  • Robloxiapedia allows for the documentation of fictional cults or religious organizations of established Roblox games, storylines, or original history. Robloxiapedia used to allow cults provided the code of conduct is followed, but due to past events involving Spawnism/Spawn Cult on July 2025 and the fact Robloxiapedia may have caused users to believe in the cult due to it being featured on social media, rules are now in place for articles about cults.
  • Any cult articles promoting or celebrating real-world cult behavior, enforcing self-harming, suicide, or "respawning" teachings are forbidden.
  • Fictional cults serving as a means to excuse grooming, manipulation, or abuse and spreading misinformation on real-life religion or spirituality are prohibited. This includes the creation of lore which promotes offensive real-life ideologies or attempts to recreate deleted groups such as the Spawn Cult.
Code Action Information
E5.1 Creating cult articles promoting real world cult behavior, self harm and suicide
E5.2 Cult articles used to spread misinformation on religion, spirituality, grooming, and manipulation

Discussion and feed policies

Creating discussions

  • Discussion posts on Discuss should contribute meaningfully to the community.
  • Each post should have a purpose, a descriptive title, an appropriate category.
  • Making replies that are off topic to the subject of the post is prohibited.
Code Action Information
D1.1 Low effort discussions
D1.2 Misplaced discussions
D1.3 Spam discussions

Message walls and comments

  • Message walls, comments, and discussion replies should remain civil, constructive, and relevant to the topic being discussed.
  • Users are expected to communicate respectfully with one another, even during disagreements. Harassment, bullying, intimidation, personal attacks, hate speech, excessive hostility, and targeted abuse are strictly prohibited. Spam, disruptive behavior, repeated off-topic posting, and attempts to derail discussions are also prohibited.
  • Criticism and debate are permitted when expressed respectfully and in good faith. Users should focus on ideas, content, and actions rather than attacking individuals. Efforts to provoke, antagonize, or create conflict within discussions are prohibited.
Code Action Information
D2.1 Harassment in discussions
D2.2 Spam
D2.3 Personal attacks

Cross-wiki conduct

  • Users should not organize, encourage, participate in, or coordinate harassment, raids, brigading, targeted disruption, or other hostile actions against individuals, groups, communities, websites, or platforms. This includes using Robloxiapedia to recruit participants for such activities, directing users to interfere with external communities, or attempting to provoke conflicts between communities.
  • Disputes with other wikis, fandoms, organizations, or online communities should be handled respectfully, professionally, and through appropriate channels. Users are expected to engage in constructive dialogue, avoid escalating tensions, and refrain from personal attacks, retaliation, or campaigns intended to damage the reputation or operations of another community.
Code Action Information
D3.1 Cross-wiki harassment
D3.2 Organizing raids
D3.3 Encouraging vandalism

Sanction and enforcement

Enforcement

  • Staff may take action when users violate these policies, which may include reminders, warnings, blocks, bans, protection of pages, content removal, and Fandom staff referrals.
  • Severity of a sanction depends on the seriousness of the violation, the user's previous conduct, its risk to the wiki, and whether it was intentional.

Appeals

  • Users who believe a moderation action was made in error may appeal the decision through our Discord server or by messaging one of our staff.
  • It should contain respectful language, relevant info, and no personal attacks.
  • Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that a sanction will be reversed.

Community consensus

  • Many decisions on Robloxiapedia are made through community discussion and consensus.
  • Users should participate, consider alternative viewpoints, and seek compromise where possible.
  • One vote should be given to all users, regardless of seniority, popularity, or by staff status, unless said otherwise.

Recent changes

This section documents significant amendments to the Code of Conduct. The following amendments were recently made to the policies/rules of Robloxiapedia:

  • 5 June 2026 - Robloxiapedia Code of Conduct Change

Some unnecessary text content from the Code was removed to maintain professionalism.

  • 4 June 2026 - Robloxiapedia Code of Conduct Review

A bureaucratic review revealed no major changes needed to be made to the code of conduct.

  • 3 June 2026 - Complete Code of Conduct Rewrite and Modernization

The Robloxiapedia Code of Conduct has been completely rewritten from the ground up and reorganized into a modern policy structure. The previous version of the Code of Conduct had grown significantly over time through the addition of clauses, exceptions, and amendments. To improve readability, accessibility, and consistency, the policy has been restructured into five categories:

  • Behaviour Policies
  • Content Policies
  • Editing Policies
  • Discussion & Feed Policies
  • Recent Changes

The rewrite also introduces a standardized rule numbering system to make enforcement easier and to allow users to quickly identify specific policy violations.

Examples include:

  • B1.1 – Violating Fandom policies
  • C4.1 – Copyright violations
  • E1.1 – Vandalism
  • D1.1 – Low-effort discussion posts

Several existing expectations have been rewritten in clearer language. No major behavioral standards were removed; rather, they were consolidated and clarified. The copyright section has been significantly expanded. The previous AI policy has been replaced with a dedicated section. Approved AI tools continue to include ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grammarly, Perplexity, NotebookLM. Several editing-related clauses have been merged into a unified editing standards section. A dedicated discussion policy section has been created for the first time.

Several references to real-world legal processes, criminal investigations, lawsuits, and similar terminology have been removed or rewritten. The Code of Conduct now focuses primarily on community moderation and encyclopedia management rather than legal terminology. This change was made to improve clarity and ensure the policy remains focused on practical community governance. Article-related policies have been consolidated and clarified.
