Robloxiapedia has established policies to foster a welcoming and inclusive community. Our wiki aims to be an objective and helpful resource for Roblox fanon, and we encourage all users to adhere to these guidelines. If you have any questions or concerns, or if you notice someone violating these policies, please feel free to contact any member of our staff.
This wiki is operated by volunteers and does not have any official connection to the management of Roblox or the Roblox Wiki (which is separate from us). We are unable to provide in-game items, activate promotional codes, or assist with ban inquiries. Consequently, please do not reach out to Roblox's staff regarding issues related to our wiki and its content; any complaints should be directed to our local staff team. Additionally, punishments imposed by Roblox do not apply to this wiki, and sanctions from this wiki do not affect Roblox.

Management
All Robloxiapedia policies are managed by our staff team and generally originate from one of the following sources:
- Established practices that have been followed for some time and have become precedents.
- Proposals submitted by users.
- Decisions made through staff votes and discussions.
Many policies in the first category are also influenced by similar practices found on other wikis. Policies may be changed or introduced as needed.
Sanctions
Violations of wiki policies may lead to the imposition of sanctions on users. The severity of these sanctions is determined at the discretion of the staff member; there is no standardized system for sanctions. In assessing a sanction, staff will prioritize the cessation of any ongoing disruption to the site or the remediation of the consequences of past disruptions. It is equally important to consider leniency and forgiveness. Factors such as good faith, long-term membership within the community, prior sanctions, and the gravity of the violation will all be taken into account.
No user should face punishment for any arbitrary rule violation unless the violation pertains to the Fandom's Terms of Service. In such cases, not only will a sanction be imposed, but there will also be a referral to Fandom authorities for consideration of a global sanction. It is imperative for staff members to possess a thorough understanding of what constitutes a violation of the Terms of Service and to minimize unnecessary referrals to Fandom authorities.
Reminders and warnings
A user acting in good faith will, in most cases, receive a message reminding them of the wiki's policies. These messages are a preliminary form of sanctions intended to help users better understand the rules of the site and encourage them to reflect on and improve their actions. Users who receive such a message should review the rules again and modify their behavior on the site to avoid potential blocks.
- Reminders are typically issued for unintentional rule violations, especially to new users, and do not carry any consequences. Reminders should be given to new users and staff should avoid biting them with warnings.
- Warnings are given for other less severe violations and are often issued after a reminder. Like reminders, warnings also do not have direct consequences. Warnings should be given to users who are not new.
- If frequent warnings are issued to the same user, this may indicate the need for further sanctions (down the list).
- However, to ensure that users are not sanctioned for past issues, warnings expire after three months. To help staff to determine what sanction is appropriate, users can delete their warnings on their message wall after three months has elapsed from the issuance of the warning to avoid it from being considered when determining a sanction.
Blocks
Users who severely, intentionally, or repeatedly violate the wiki's policies within a short period of time may face a block. Blocks can also be issued if a user repeatedly receives warnings without showing any signs of improvement. The primary goal of blocks is to minimize disruption.
- Blocks restrict a user's participation on the entire wiki (full) or in specific areas (partial), for either a set duration or indefinitely. The exact details of a block, including its length and the features affected, are determined on a case-by-case basis by the staff member issuing the block.
- Contrary to popular belief, indefinite blocks are not blacklists nor bans (i.e. not permanent). If the blocked user convincingly apologizes and demonstrates a commitment to changing their behavior and displays the commitment to any Robloxiapedia staff member and is subject to popular vote for the acceptance of their apology, they can be unblocked. Depending on the nature of the misconduct that resulted in the block, some blocks may require a waiting period before an unblock is considered.
Platform Activity Checks
If a user has received a block, at a staff member's discretion, the staff member might perform an Fandom activity check. Blocked users have no right to be exempt from this activity check as this is done to see if the violator had violated other policies on other Fandom wikis. This activity check covers all major Roblox and SCP wikis (suggestion, not mandate), although it can be customized to include any wiki the Robloxiapedia staff member so chooses. If a check finds out that the user has been blocked for a longer time than the Robloxiapedia block, at the user's discretion, the block may be updated to reflect the longer block duration, or a ban as appropriate, and at the same discretion, the user can be directly referred to Fandom staff for a consideration of a possible global sanction, including a global block or (rarely) a global ban.
Poison Blocks
Please note that Robloxiapedia will rarely do poison blocks which will disable the ability for a person to use any new accounts for a certain amount of time to edit Robloxiapedia. This is limited in cases in which a person continues to behave abusively, and there is a suspicion that the new user account created by that person is actually from the same person, and all poison blocks must be verified to be genuine with a Fandom staff member performing a CheckIP on both accounts.
Blacklists/Bans
In very rare cases, users may be banned (i.e. added to a blacklist). Blacklists are issued only in exceptional circumstances or after repeated abusive behavior that does not warrant other actions. Optionally, they can be done if a user repeatedly receives blocks without signs of improvement. Their purpose is to prevent disruptions in a specific area caused by a particular user. All blacklists and bans are indefinite.
Poison Bans
Please note that Robloxiapedia will rarely do poison bans which will disable the ability for a person to use any new accounts to edit Robloxiapedia. This is limited in cases in which a person continues to behave abusively, and there is a suspicion that the new user created by that person is actually from the same person, and all poison bans must be verified to be genuine with a Fandom staff member performing a CheckIP on both accounts.
Referrals
In exceedingly rare cases, users will not only be sanctioned but also referred to Fandom authorities for a possible global sanction. Referrals should only be done if the user has a past history of repeated abusive behavior on other encyclopedias or the abusive behavior is so abusive that it violates Fandom's Terms of Service.
Appeals
Robloxiapedia only allows appeals for sanctions carrying direct consequences with them. For wiki-issued sanctions, only blocks and blacklists can be appealed, while for the Robloxiapedia Discord server, all sanctions can be appealed. Sanctions on the Discord can be appealed by visiting this link. All appeals are checked and discussed by the moderators and administrators of the wiki. These appeals can be done through our Discord server or by messaging one of our staff members (for the latter, assuming that the sanction does not take away privileges to use the message walls of staff members).
