The 2026 "No more lies, the solution is near" Protests were a series of pro-Communist and pro-Corporatist protests in Robloxia led by the military man Joseph Palhermo that took place on June 24, 2026. It included a series of 41 small protests and riots occurring in Robloxia cities, including Robloxia City, Brookhaven, Bloxburg, Sacramento, and many more. At its height, 40 states had at least one city that had a protest or a riot that took place that day. The number of protesters and rioters reached over a dozen thousand. More precisely, it was estimated at 17,298. Among them were rioters. In New Bloxico, one protester died after being hit by a police car. Investigation revealed that he was intoxicated and attempted to ram the car when the drivers could not see him. Additionally, nine rioters in various states sustained injuries as a result of the pacification.
According to Joseph Palhermo, his goal was to overthrow President John Puma and take over dictatorial power in the country. As a result, this is why he and several of his associates were arrested. The main slogan of the protests and riots was "No more lies, the solution is near". Protesters wanted to fight both the government and the rebels from Robloxia Immigration and Customs Enforcement and were made up of various ethnicities. Coup members led by Palhermo started spreading rumors that Robloxia is leaderless and that John Puma is considering resigning to end the current situation and hold a second series of elections. Later, a majority of the 41 protests ended because they were drowned out by rallies of government supporters or, in the case of riots, simply suppressed. Later, independent fact checking agencies quickly debunked the rumors, saying Robloxia has a leader, John Puma is not considering on resigning, and the next elections will still be held on November 7, 2032 unless an equivalent early election is passed.
Robloxia Ambassador to the United Roblox Countries Otto von Manul-Pallas commented: "The coup has no chance of success. Its leader expects us [the government] and the president to resign under the influence of his actions. However, Palhermo does not have enough support to hold the country for a week; RICE would overthrow or kill him. His views differ from those of the majority of the country's inhabitants - he is trying to overthrow the new government while simultaneously wanting to fight the loyalist of the old one." Robloxians Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agents overheard Manul bring up their organization and started to find if Palhermo had legally immigrated to Robloxia, for if he did not, he would be deported back to his home country. Some rogue agents suggested to give Palhermo the death penalty. Others wanted Palhermo to be tried for attempting to overthrow the government. He is currently in the Lake Hyperion Internment Camp and a decision will be made within the next month.
Background
John Puma as president
Following the 2026 United States of Robloxia presidential election, John Puma was elected with 53.5% of the vote. On June 1, 2026, he was officially appointed as the 33rd President of Robloxia, presenting his government. As the days passed, the government was struggling to completely eliminate the problems of recent years, although it was met with support for constantly trying and fixing many failures in just three weeks. John Puma suggested that he can be the best president Robloxia had ever had, given that the country had just emerged from a very complicated legal battle involving David Baszucki and Mason Smith, who were responsible for several crimes, including election fraud and falsifying evidence. The citizens of Robloxia had high hopes for new president as his tenure would last indefinitely just as long as he would not violate the Robloxian Constitution.
Soon, the opposition, in the form of Corporatists, began spreading rumors that the government was going bankrupt and that nothing had been fixed. Furthermore, Baszucki's supporters began falsifying data, suggesting that the new government was incapable of addressing high taxes. Another claim that María Jiménez, the president's wife, was more popular than he was, became absurd. Interestingly, Corporatists provided a footnote linking to a website they described as a reliable source of data. Fact check revealed that it was an online community dedicated to famous women. The community leader even corrected the claim that María Jiménez had a ton of searches, while her husband had zero, as it was common knowledge that John Puma did not identify as a female. Subsequent fact checks debunked further myths. The myth of high taxes was debunked after it was pointed out that Puma had eliminated a small portion of taxes and kept most to eliminate the economic crisis. The claim that his government was paralyzed when it came to taxes was completely disproved after the president signed the Progressive Taxation Act on June 22. This act completely eliminated many taxes, shifting the previous economic burden from the poor to the wealthy corporations and companies that had previously exploited taxation. The vast majority of robloxians accepted that the Corporatist propaganda was false, but for some unknown reason, the Communists decided to take it seriously and use it as a pretext for protests.
Terrorist attack of June 20, 2026
Main article: June 20, 2026 attacks
On June 20, anarchist terrorists declaring themselves communists from the Tovokian Federation blew up a residential building in Robloxia City, leading to 2,300 robloxians being affected. After the Tovokian Communists carried out the terrorist attack, the Robloxian Communists and Anarcho-Communists decided they could then start riots and possibly rebel completely.
Government reaction and counter-protests
Puma responded by invoking the Insurrection Act and only sent the Robloxia Guard to stop riots, meaning protests that involved violence. As he put it many times:
"I may not agree with what some robloxians are saying, but I will fight with all my might to ensure they have the right to do it"
The Progressive Party took advantage of those protests and started the "No more solutions, the lies are near" counter-protests, referring to the fact that Corporatists had repeatedly pointed to random solutions that did not do anything or had a negative effect on the country, either in morale or in safety or both, even though the Corporatists argued it would increase national safety or have a positive effect on the country. The number of counter-protesters outnumbered the number of protesters, as over half a million robloxians gathered at rallies in support of the government. Counter-protesters pointed out that in just three weeks, Puma's government had repealed laws violating the constitution, improved the country's political situation, restored the rule of law at the highest levels, launched a fight against corruption, made life easier for many robloxians, and ended the entire war. They also declared that the 2026 "No more lies, the solution is near" protests were a disgrace, as by declaring themselves anti-Corporatist, they were essentially facilitating Corporatist propaganda. Because of this debunk, left-wing parties received only a modicum of support. Originally a spike in support, it was watered down when it was revealed that the Corporatists could possibly support the same thing, which is ironic, considering that Robloxian Immigrations and Customs Enforcement was reprogrammed by Corporatists to allow the deportation of robloxians that violate the country's former constitution when David Baszucki took the presidential helm. Finally, it was revealed that at least two out of three Robloxia residents support the government, meaning that at most one out of three robloxians support the protests or are neutral, making this a minority issue. Several memes have been made lambasting the Robloxian response, such as
Puma: "If anything bad happens, Telamon Islands will give Robloxia its technology" Also Puma: "Puma does not need help"
There was a slightly bigger number of memes making fun of protesters. They have quickly become much more popular. The most popular of them was: "President Puma does not need help. Help needs President Puma🔥🔥🔥". Many politicians sided with the government, praising it for professionally handling the problem and upholding the rights to express opinion, noting that pro-Communist and pro-Corporatist protesters and rioters will never be able to turn Robloxia into the dystopian place they want it to be as long as someone like Puma is in office.
Later, on June 28, 2026, Palhermo was caught trying to escape the prison, but was immediately charged with abducting the Corporatist Party chairperson and replacing it with the 55th Robloxia City D.C. mayor, Elizabeth Pardo, on 5:30:21 AM Bloxington Sea Time. The government forces caught Palhermo red handed and sent him back to the Lake Hyperion prison, and his sentence was extended by an extra day.
International response
The response to those protests were internationally received.
Coffee-Stained Republic
Premier Coeptus III demanded that Puma immediately release Palhermo and allow him to travel to the CSR. He threatened "severe retaliation" in the event of a refusal. The funniest thing is his revenge as stipulated on the letter will occur on June 31[sic], 2026, a fictitious date.
Rogaulia
Emperor Napoleon VIII condemned the protests and commented that Puma could get the Grande Armiee in Rogaulia to Robloxia to help quell the protests.
