Progressive Taxation Act

The Progressive Taxation Act is a Robloxian congressional bill passed by both houses of the Robloxia Congress and signed by President John Puma on June 22, 2026. The act introduced progressive taxation, helping the poor due to the burden of the 30% transaction tax, and thus regulated tax issues, improving the quality of life in Robloxia, and marking the end of the era of Corporatism. The Progressive Taxation Act was notable for repealing the flat universal 30% transaction tax, in Robloxia which had predominated Robloxia since the introduction of the now deprecated Stimulus program. Robloxian Conservative Party condemned the progressive tax, citing a study that showed that taxes would increase under the act, whereas Corporatist Party condemned the new progressive tax, arguing that the flat universal 30% tax is already the simplest taxation structure in Robloxia and condemned the complications added to the taxation structure, although Progressive Party argued that it is actually simpler than corporatist taxation.
