Noobs (Nusians)

Noobs, Nusians or the Nusian People are a large Indo-Nusiatic ethnic group native to Aquaria and central Baoji, and are related to Bacons. They are widely recognized for their bright yellow skin and simplistic facial features. Commonly known as Noobs, the name "Nusians" is used by professionals and government officials and has been adopted in the Bronze Age. There are large significant diaspora communities in Robloxia, Bloxrazil, Crossroadia and Luobu as well as smaller communities in Rogaulia, Bloxia Kingdom, Catfish Islands, Telamon Islands and Bloxstralia. Most of these communities were made from mass migrations to Bloxmerica and colonial powers from Eurobloxia colonizing their native territories.

History

Origin

The exact origin of the Nusians are unknown. Many believe they first lived in Central and West Baoji where early Proto-Nusians settled, farmed and traded before developing their first own culture and language.

Many Nusians have also migrated to the continent of Aquaria thousands of years ago, with outdated ships and supplies they brought from their homeland. They have integrated here and spread their culture in many areas in the continent.

Persecution of Nusians

Noobs have been seen as incompetent by many other Robloxians. Due to the stereotype of Noobs being stupid other races thought it would be a waste of resources to educate Robloxians who they thought were incapable of learning. Because of this many Noobs are doomed to poverty and end up getting taken advantage of by Robloxians of higher status who say they were offering them "free Robux." These Noobs would take the offer out of desperation for a better life just to become victims of Robloxian trafficking. Though things have gotten better there is still conflict regarding the treatment of Noobs they are still looked down on by some Robloxians especially those who believe in the Rocaste system that sees Noobs as subbloxian. Due to this hatred many noobs have found themselves allying with similarly hated races now a days like Retroslopians though others say Retropslop is against the principles of their religion Noobism. Though they've tried to redeem themselves Noobs have had a bit of a tense history with Guests since they were the only group Noobs were allowed to enslave for a long time due to Noobs also being considered a "slave race" by Robloxians like King Leoblox The 2nd. Noobs would later try to redeem themselves by attempting to ally with Guests though the damage had already been done especially since Guests had built up trauma for being consistently being treated as the punching bag for every other race. Ever since the 2017 Guest genocide many of the few remaining Guests have been starting to accept help from Noobs due to almost being extinct and having no other options.

Noobism is the largest and most influential religion among the Nusian people. It began in Israblox, where it was founded by a spiritual figure known as Noob Noobherre, who, according to tradition, received a divine message from Nub, the West Nusian word for God.

Noobism spread rapidly among the Nusians and soon became the foundation of many Nusian empires and kingdoms. Its teachings shaped Nusian law, governance, and daily life. The religion eventually spread beyond the Nusian homeland, especially into Baoji and Aquaria.

Oofism

Oofism or Oofish is the second-largest religion among the Nusian people. It was founded in 1432 by Noob Mcoofarena as a reform movement within Noobism, aiming to revive and clarify the original teachings. Over time, however, Oofism developed its own distinct beliefs and practices, becoming a separate religion.

In the mid-16th century, Oofism spread beyond its place of origin to the Islands of Noobs and the Catfish Islands, where it gained a strong following. Over time, it became especially widespread in the continent of Aquaria, where it remains the most commonly practiced religion among Nusians in Aquaria today.

Christianity

Christianity came to the Nusian people mainly during the 18th and 19th centuries, through migration to Bloxmerica. As many Nusians moved to places like Robloxia and Bloxrazil, they came into contact with English/Ro Portugese Christian communities and some embraced the faith. Over time, Christianity grew especially among Nusian communities living in Robloxia and Bloxrazil, where it became a way to connect with their new societies and also find a spiritual home.

Nusian Christians are mostly Catholic in Bloxrazil, while in Robloxia, they are mainly Protestants (Lutherans). Overall, Protestantism is the dominant Christian faith among the Nusian people.

Islam

The Nusian people began converting to Islam between the 7th and 9th centuries during the Arab conquests of Central Baoji and West Baoji. Most islamized Nusians follow Sunni Islam, with a smaller number practicing Shia Islam. Since the 20th century, Nusian Muslims have faced persecution under the People's Republic of Luobu, which has targeted their communities and religious practices. Despite this, Islam remains the fourth-largest religion among the Nusian people.

Historically, Nusians who practiced Islam were often called Qubaris. They established their own islamic empire known as the Qubari Dynasty, which governed parts of Nusian territory in central Baoji for two centuries. This dynasty eventually came to an end when their lands were annexed by the expanding Tovokian Empire.

Other Religions

Church of the Heavenly Peace

Among the Nusian people, the Church has a medium presence, with about 75,000 to 120,000 followers. It is valued for its focus on peace, meditation, and spiritual insight. It is also recognizing Noobian and Oofian prophets.

Judaism

Judaism has a very small presence among the Nusian people. Today, only around 200 to 500 Nusian Jews remain, making them one of the most endangered religious groups in Nusian society. Almost all of them have migrated to Israblox, where they live as part of the wider Jewish community

Irreligion

Many Nusians today, especially in cities or younger generations, no longer follow a religion. Some grew up in secular environments, while others moved away from religious practice over time. This shift became more common in the 20th century, especially in areas controlled by the Luobese Communist Regime, where religion was discouraged. Irreligion is also increasing in Robloxian Nusian communities.

Even if they do not practice a faith, many irreligious Nusians still take part in cultural traditions linked to their heritage. Irreligion is now the fifth-largest belief group among the Nusian people.
