At age 13, Garrison began watching televised football matches with his father Ronald, which was something they began to bond over. After watching the New Bloxia Knights win against the Bloxuffalo Bills, Garrison became interested in Robloxian football and began practicing with his father, and eventually joined his middle schools football team.

Garrison eventually continued on to play football for the Greenville Bears high school squad, starting at quarterback from his sophomore to senior year. At six foot five and two hundred pounds, Garrison completed 1,237 of 1,267 passes to wide receivers. He also scored 1,132 touchdowns, 3,167 first downs, and 3,334 running yards. Garrison's high school statistics attracted the interest of many RFL scouts, who had previously observed him in his sophomore and freshman seasons. After being named the top football player in Wisconsin in 1993, Garrison was awarded a full ride scholarship to attend Bloxouisiana State University, where he was chosen as the first choice quarterback. He finished his studies there in 1997 and was chosen by the Bloxarado Stallions with the second overall pick in the 1997 RFL Draft.

1997–1998: RFL Rookie Season: Bloxarado Stallions and Evolution Series XXXII, First season MVP

The 1997-1998 RFL Season was the first season for Garrison, as well as his first ever Evolution Series season. Garrison showed great success with the Stallions and throughout the playoffs. Rickey Nash took over as head coach and guided the team to both the Divisional and RFC Championships. Garrison earned 27 first downs, won his first-ever Evolution Series ring, and emerged as the game's MVP in Evolution Series XXXII. After a stellar season, Garrison signed a six-year contract worth 48 million R$, 32 million of which was guaranteed, to become the Stallions' official starting quarterback. Garrison had assistance all season long from tight end Lance Britt, to whom he completed over 3,607 yards of completion throughout the season. Garrison's 13–4 record at the end of the season ensured the Stallions' postseason participation. The Stallions had a great start to the postseason, winning the RFC Championship 23–10 over the New Bloxia Dragons and the Divisional 3–38 over Miablox. Garrison has been able to put up big points against other teams throughout the season, giving the Stallions an edge over other RFL clubs.

The Ro-Atlanta Tridents were defeated 34–19 by the Stallions in Evolution Series XXXIII. led by Garrison, Britt, and Stallions head coach Jeffrey Haines, scoring seven points in the first quarter, ten in the second, zero in the third, and seventeen points in the fourth. In addition, Garrison won his second Evolution Series ring—his last with the Stallions—as well as season and team MVP awards. As a result, he attracted interest from numerous RFL teams, but he had five more years with the Stallions after the 1998 season ended before he could sign with another team.

1999-2004: Contract years and Playoffs appearances and Bloxarado Stallions Hall-Of-Famer

The 2004 Season was the last season for Garrison with the Stallions, and Garrison was expected to retire with the Stallions, already taking home two Evolution Series wins, 2 season MVPs, and 2 Evolution Series rings before turning 30. By now, Garrison was considered to have completed his career. However, after his contract expired after the lose of the 2004 Playoffs, many teams began to bid for Garrison. Garrison also joined the Bloxarado Stallions Hall-Of-Fame, for winning them 2 Consecutive Evolution Series, and having several playoff appearances in the 2000s with the Stallions.

Pittsblox Punishers

Eventually, the Pittsblox Punishers agreed with Garrison on an 8-season contract deal with him as quarterback, with him being succeeded by future-hall-of-famer, Russel Glover, and under the lead of head-coach Michael Todd. Because of Michael Todd and Garrison, they lead the Pittsblox Punishers to win two Evolution Series titles, and an Evolution Series appearance in 2011.

Garrison's dominance throughout the season earned him the title of MVP for both the season and the Evolution Series, as well as another ring. As a result, many predicted that, at just 28 years old in February 2006, Garrison would launch a sports dynasty with the Pittsblox Punishers, having already won three Evolution Series rings, three Season MVPs, and three Evolution Series MVPs.

2007-2008: Contract Season with the Pittsblox Punishers, ACL Injury

The 2007 RFL Season was reportedly the worst season for Garrison, as he tore his ACL during a whilst in a match against the Cape Coral Jaguars, and Pittsblox was first-rounded in the Wild Card 31 - 29. Garrison reportedly had to stay in the hospital for 3 months, and nearly quit football and the RFL as a whole, however, Garrison got better in May 2008, and went on to make a full recovery, and played in both the 2009 playoffs and Evolution Series XLIII.

2008-2009: Evolution Series XLIII, 3rd Evolution Series MVP

In the 2008-2009 series, the Pittsblox Punishers finished off with a record of 14 - 2, a record that had already been broken the year prior by quarterback of the Cape Coral Jaguars, Zachary Howard. Pittsblox started the season off in the Divisional against the Buenos Lagos Lightning, winning 35 - 24, Pittsblox went on to beat the Burlington Bats in the RFC Championship on January 18.

In Evolution Series XLIII against the Brickland Firebirds, the Punishers started with a 3 point kick-lead due to unsuccessful attempts at throwing first downs' by Garrison, Garrison went on to score two touchdowns with an additional extra point for both, whilst Brickland only scored 7 points, after multiple attempts of Garrison attempting to throw and being intercepted by the Firebird's defense, they eventually kicked for 3, whilst the Firebirds didn't score. However, in Quarter 4, the Firebirds made a comeback, scoring 16 points, whilst they only managed to get a touchdown with an extra point, however, at the end of the game, the Punishers won 27 - 23 against the Brickland Firebirds at Campa Stadium on February 1, 2009.

In week 4 against the Buenos Lagos Lightning, Garrison received a season-ending leg injury and was unable to play for the season. Because of this, he was replaced with back-up quarterback for the season, and the Pittsblox Punishers finished off the season losing 9 - 8, the first season that Garrison wouldn't make the playoffs.

2010-2011: Evolution Series XLV, first Evolution Series loss

In the 2010 Season, with Garrison fully recovered, the Punishers finished off the season with a score of 12 - 4, the best record the team had seen. They started the playoffs winning against the Burlington Bats 31 - 24, 24 - 19 against the New Bloxia Dragons in the RFC Championship, and lead the season in passing yards and in touchdowns. Because of this, Garrison stated that he felt confident that he would be able to beat the Greenville Coyotes in Evolution Series XLV, stating live on ROX Sports, "It's gonna be another easy year for the Punishers this time, now I'm back I'm locked in."

Starting off Evolution Series XLV, Greenville scored 14 points in the first quarter, whilst Pittsblox didn't score because of several interceptions and player injuries. The Punishers came back strong in the second quarter, scoring 10 points, whilst Greenville only scored 7, giving them a 3 point lead in terms of points scored in the second quarter. After halftime in the third quarter, Pittsblox defense had gotten better, and Greenville didn't score at all, whilst they scored a touchdown with an extra point. In the final quarter, they got a touchdown, and a 2 point, however, Greenville was ahead with 10 points, and had a 2 point lead in terms of points scored, making the Greenville Coyotes win Evolution Series XLV, with the final score being 25 - 31.

After the loss, Garrison considered retiring, and considered it, "My worst game ever". However, Garrison still had 2 seasons left with the Pittsblox Punishers and was looking to win one more Evolution Series for him to retire.
