Greenville, officially known as the Town of Greenville, is a town in Outagamie County, Wisconsin, Robloxia. According to the 2025 census, it has a population of 16,675, making it the largest town in Wisconsin. Greenville is situated approximately 6.5 miles northwest of the City of Ro-Appleton, with State Route 15—aptly named Greenville Drive—running through the town's center. This route serves as the main thoroughfare, connecting the Fox Cities and is roughly 5 miles southwest of the Town of Horton, its neighboring community.
The current mayor is milk74I80, who was elected on June 28, 2017 under the title "Town President".
Geography
Greenville is part of the Fox Cities metropolitan statistical area, which comprises 18 communities within Eastern Wisconsin. The town is located north-northwest of the City of Appleton, sitting at an elevation of approximately 827 feet (252 meters) above sea level. Within the town limits lies Lake Greenville, though there are no rivers or creeks.
Greenville covers an area of approximately 35.8 square miles (92.7 km²) and is bordered by three municipal districts: the City of Ro-Appleton to the east via Greenville Drive, Brookmere to the west via Sunfield Pass Road, and the Town of Horton to the southeast via Horton Road.
Demographics
In the 2025 Robloxia census, Greenville had a population of 20,192 residents living in 1,056 private dwellings.
Economy
Ro-Appleton International Airport serves as the economic backbone of Greenville, with the largest employers primarily located in business parks surrounding the airport. One of the major employers in the town is Sahara.
Many fast-food chains and retail shops can be found within the town limits, particularly at the Greenville Strip Mall on Outagamie County CB. Other significant employers include Connor's, Just Buy, Craig's Sporting Goods, Superwich, The Twist, The Bulk Priced Food Shoppe, Fox Mountain Community Bank, and various gas stations throughout Greenville, as well as Roadmap Used Cars. The dealerships on Greenville offers vehicle that are also sold in Keysota and Berkeley County.
Greenville is also home to the Verwire telecommunication corporate headquarters and is surprisingly led by the mayor of Greenville.
Education
Public education is provided by the Horton School District, which includes one middle school:
- Greenville Middle School - located on A9611 School Road and serves grades 5-8.
Transportation
Greenville is connected by five major roadways, including State Route 15, State Route 76, State Route 96, and County CB (Outagamie CB) and Highway 744. State Route 15 (Greenville Drive) serves as the main route into the town and runs through its center as a two-lane divided road, providing access to the Town of Horton and Central Appleton. Highway 744 ends 2km away from Outagamie CB to the South. Highway 744 is a full 6 lane road. Interblox 41 serves as the 3 lane spur freeway of Greenville and Brookmere, with two interchanges at Greenville Drive in the north end and Elk Run Drive in Brookmere in the south, with multiple rest stops along its journey.
County CB also plays a vital role in the town's transportation network, serving both the business sector and Appleton International Airport, and is designed as a two-lane urban arterial roadway. State Route 76 (known as Hill Road) is another important road, providing access to the Riverrock and Mediterranean neighborhoods, along with major services.
Appleton International Airport (ATW), located within Greenville limits, serves as the main airport for the City of Ro-Appleton, accommodating approximately 101,293 passengers per week.
Parks and recreation
Cat's Park is Greenville's main community park, spanning 57 acres. It features a pond, picnic areas, tennis fields, soccer fields, and football fields. Lake Greenville, the only lake in the town, is located south of the town and offers fishing areas and picnic spots.

6 residential neighbourhoods are located within town limits, one being a gated community.
- Six Estates (formerly Six Housen't)
- A gated community along State Route 15, known for its affluent residents and security, with access to Downtown Greenville and Lake Greenville.
- Riverrock
- Located in Downtown Greenville, adjacent to the Mediterranean neighborhood, this is a lower middle-class area serviced by State Route 15 and State Route 76.
- Mediterranean
- A middle-class neighborhood situated north of Central Greenville and adjacent to Riverrock. It is serviced by Greenville School and State Route 15.
- Upper Lakeville
- This middle-class neighborhood is mainly rural and is located west of Central Greenville, south of Lakeville, with access via Mile Long Road.
- Lakeville
- A small neighborhood along State Route 15, consisting of only four houses and a small pond in the center. It is also serviced by Mile Long Road.
- Lakeville Residences
- A larger, paved middle-class neighborhood along State Route 15, featuring a playground and other amenities. It is accessible via State Route 15 and Mile Long Road.
