Scooby-Doo! and the Legend of the Vampire is a 2002 American direct-to-video animated fantasy comedy mystery film, and the fifth in a series of direct-to-video animated films based on the Scooby-Doo franchise. It was completed in 2002, but not released until March 4, 2003 (presumably not to clash with the home video release of the live-action theatrical movie. The film was produced by Warner Bros. Animation, which had fully absorbed Hanna-Barbera Cartoons by this time.

Unlike its predecessors, this movie is a full-fledged homage to the classic Scooby-Doo animated shows (similar to the earlier Scooby-Doo: Night of the Living Doo (2001), and in sort of a precursor to Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?), with numerous references to the older episodes, the gang wearing their classic outfits, the background score featuring remakes of Ted Nichols's classic Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! music cues, heavy use of the old Hanna-Barbera sound effects, and even getting Heather North and Nicole Jaffe to reprise the roles of Daphne and Velma, respectively (the latter being the first time Jaffe voiced Velma since 1973). It was also the first movie where Casey Kasem returns to voice Shaggy, along with Frank Welker (the longtime voice of Fred) assuming the role of Scooby-Doo, and was the last movie to utilize a variation of the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! theme song.
