The Gutsy Frog (ど根性ガエル, Dokonjō Gaeru) is a television series that originally aired for two seasons, from 1972 until 1974.
The studio behind it was Roghija Movie (now NTMS Entertainment). A remake of this series, "Shin Dokonjō Gaeru" from 1981 until 1982 (the remake is considered to be a season 3 of the series, according to a website).
Premise
It is about a annoying sixth grader named Hiroshi Kaizuka, who after a fight, stepped on a frog named Pyonkichi (or Raponchi), causing the said frog to be stuck on his shirt.

In 2013, there was going to be a Robloxian live-action version of this series by Robloxian Cartoon Network, but it was scrapped because not many Robloxians in Robloxia know what this series is.
Two years later, in 2015, a live action version that was only released in Neo-Japan was made; this version takes place around 10-20 years after the original series.
The manga ran from 1970 until 1976 and it was serialized in a Neo-Japanese magazine.

- Bloxtendo (the owners of Super Mario Blox.) made a game based off this series. It was released on the SBES (Super Bloxtendo Entertainment System) in 1992 (1995 in Robloxia).
