Avast Television is a pay-television network that plays shows with comedy, children, reality and more genres. It was founded in 1967 and it was the oldest channel to broadcast in color in Robloxia.
Broadcasting
Avast
The channel was founded all the way back in 1958. The channel would broadcast TV-G, TV-PG, TV-Y (until 2015), TV-Y7 (until 2018), TV-14 (until 2028) and TV-18 (until 2035). The channel would be shut down on Philo and on most cable, IPTV and satelite services from December 31st to January 3rd due to low viewership (the channel would only average around 100 - 3k viewers), although the channel was removed from Hulu and YouTube TV way earlier on December 30th. The channel would then be shutdown on DirecTV on January 4th. Deals with Direct and most of IPTV and Satellite services would be renewed by February 17th 2036(even though 45 IPTV and satellite providers are still unsolved) The IPTV channel number is 22.
Children's Channel
Main article: Children's Avast Television
It was founded in September 1968 for 8–18-year-old Robloxians. Some of the anime it broadcasts might not be safe for kids uncensored. Non-Robloxian and Robloxian TV shows are available on Avast Kids. Permitted ratings on TV is TV All Ages, TV 9+ and TV-13+ (Formerly TV-Y7, TV-G, TV-PG and TV-14 (Late night broadcasting) until 2004). Occasionally, TV-17+ will show up, but Robloxians who are age verified can watch it. The channel was shutdown on March 8th, 2036 due to low viewership, only averaging between 3000 to 6000 viewers every day. However, Mike Haze is currently discussing to bring the channel back to Avast Television, losing brand recognition and money.
News
The news network was founded in July 1967. It was the first programming block of the Avast Television channel. This television channel blocks REAS messages from being sent through and intercepts them on the channel to display on television.
Comedy
The comedy television was introduced in 1970 for 14–37-year-old Robloxians. Some comedy television shows are for 12–14-year-old Robloxians and as a result, kids and teens can also watch. The channel was shut down on July 18, 2036 due to low viewership (with the channel only averaging between 1k to 2k viewers daily).
Late Night Shows
The late-night shows were introduced in 1994 after a boom in late night shows for 18-24 years old. It was a collaboration with Saturday Bloxy-Night Live and Avast Broadcast Television. A 24/7 channel was launched in 1999, and was later shutdown on March 3rd, 2026 due to very low viewership (with the channel only averaging between 10 - 800 viewers daily). However, the block is still around the main channel, Avast.
