On 28 November 2025, a conflict between the Democratic Republic of Sebelsti and the Democratic States of Working Noobs began, as a result of a dispute over the 320 km (198 mi) border between the two countries. It began when the leader of Sebelsti, BaconHairBlox had ordered soldiers to move towards and set up roadblocks as well as fortifications on the border. According to Sebelsti, it was done to prevent an invasion from the DSWN, but the leader of the Democratic States of Working Noobs, John Jason Wayne, alleged that Sebelsti was launching an invasion themselves. While this conflict has been “unofficially ” ongoing since 2017, it escalated to a full war in November 2025.

Background
On the 28th of November 2025, the army of Sebelsti had been deployed to the border with the DSWN. Sebelsti has alleged for years that the DSWN had illegally occupied part of its territory, and has, on multiple occasions attempted to take it back, all ending in stalemates, namely in 2004, 2009, 2016 and most recently, in 2026. However, with the onset of the invasion of the region of North Noobia (disputed state in DSWN), the DSWN sided with, and aided the resistance in the region, leading to a “breaking point” between the two countries. After Sebelsti officially declared war on the rebels in North Noobania, the DSWN immediately began sending its own forces to the region, and sending aid to the rebellion.
Start
On the 2nd of January 2026, president BaconHairBlox ordered an invasion on the DSWN, and North Noobania. Over 10,000 soldiers were reportedly deployed to the region near the borders of both territories, with another 20,000 coming later. Later that day, John Jason Wayne, the president of the DSWN, announced its solidarity with the North Noobanian cause, which was a part of a declaration that would make it the first country on Roblox to recognize North Noobania as a sovereign country.
Escalation (January 3-20)
During this period, Sebelsti launched 40 ballistic missiles at missile facilities in Noobwood, the capital of the DSWN, between January 3 and January 12. In retaliation, the Democratic States of Working Noobs launched approximately 20 strikes on Sebelsti, but most of them were deflected. The next day, the DSWN reported that it had shot down at least 28 drones belonging to Sebelsti. However, Sebelsti’s Ministry of Defense did not confirm the claim. Throughout January 14-15, rumors began to spread suggesting that Sebelsti had declared war on North Noobania, but the next day, a news report from Sebelsti’s CNR, reported that no war was declared on North Noobania, however war had been declared on the DSWN. The submarine Nakó II and V approached the DSWN, although no missiles were launched, reportedly 5 torpedoes were fired.
Noob Airlines 56
Noob Airlines 56 is a scheduled flight from Noobwood to Sumar, with a stopover in Port Selbesti. The route was usually operated by the Roeing 777-200ER. In January 3, 2026, Noob Airlines 56, which was operated by NO-OB700, a 777-200ER, was scheduled to fly on that day. At that time, the missles from Selbesti that were fired were over Noob Airspace since 3:09 AM, while Noob Airlines departed in 3:06 AM. While flying over Noob airspace, the aircraft crossed a danger zone in which the missiles were being shot at towards Noobwood, by then, NO-OOB700 was flying over the warzone.
At that point, Noob airspace was closed, and all of the planes flying over were diverted. But Noob Airlines 56 continued to fly over the airspace and disconnected radio contact, by approximately 3:59 AM, Noob Airlines 56 exited Noob airspace and was heading towards Port Selbesti International Airport. By 9:37 PM, Noob Airlines approached Port Selbesti International Airport, but had to execute a go-around due to desicions towards the arrival of a Noob aircraft entering Selbesti. While approaching, the plane had been a target for several anti-air missiles. Due to the speed of the aircraft during approach, the aircraft missed most of the missiles but one, which damaged the right wingtip of the aircraft. The aircraft landed safely, and all of the occupants were held hostage and NO-OB770 was comprimised. As of now, NO-OB770 had been in maintenance, re-registered to SB-NHJ and was flown back to Noobwood.
Capture of Noobwood (January 30-February 1)
During the early hours of January 30, the Sebelsti Air Force as well as the Sebelsti People’s Revolutionary Army Land Forces, with help from Luobu and the Republic of Bloxjiado, invaded Noobwood at around 00:48. Meanwhile during the deployment of the Selbesti Air Force, a bomber had apparently without any proper intent, had bombed the village of Laweville, causing the village to be evacuated, and leaving a count of of 18 dead and furthermore 56 injured from the explosion.
By 01:03, it was reported that multiple air bases had been struck, and by 01:30, almost all of DSWN’s aerial operations were completely destroyed, with over 30 strikes reported within the roughly 30-40 minutes. A state of emergency was declared shortly after, resulting in an attempted Noobian counterattack, but the Sebelsti forces deployed the Automatic Airspace Defense System, which shot down most of the enemy missiles. Around that time, it was believed that John Jason Wayne had fled to a nearby bunker outside of Noobwood, where he would not be found until around 03:34, and was captured by Democratic Republic of Selbesti, during that time a democratic interim government was established.
Battle of Noobwood (February 8)
During the late hours of February 8, the airforce from the newly-aquired Empire NSR had flown out from Noobic Town and bombed Noobwood, resulting in 8,000 casualties and 12,000 wounded. By 3:01 AM, Noob soldiers from Noob Administrative Capital had arrived in Noobwood and started to gun down Selbesti soldiers, by 8:56 AM areas like Harden, Noob Suburbs, and Old Noobwood. However, Selbesti troops advanced and took off some parts of Noob Administrative Capital, but the Noob soldiers shot back by attacking Old Noobwood and Downtown Noobwood, which were occupied by Selbesti soldiers. By 3:05 PM, Noobwood was fully captured and all of the remaining Selbesti soldiers involved in the battle were captured. At the same time, the democratic interim government was fully revealed to be a puppet of the Noob Communist Party, and the interim president was in fact, the head of the ministry of defence in the DSWN.
Sebelstian Archipelago Massacre (February 28-present)

The Sebelstian Archipelago Massacre is a current on-going battle of the War in the Sebelstian Archipelago. Most of the battle in this part has taken place in the archipelago’s southern district called “Main Island”. The Sebelsti Air Forces identified three military bases DSWN set up in the Archipelago. Three DSWN air force aircrafts have been shot down in the battle and includes over fifty-three Sebelsti Aircrafts and two Bloxjiado Air Force aircrafts which have been shot down.
On June 14, 2026, the ceasefire was broken when DSWN forces took control of the River Field Airport and Kareem Airport and shot down a Sebelsti aircraft.
Nacoof International Airport Massacre (February 28-April 4?)
As a part of retaliation from the Selbestian Archipelago Massacre, airstrikes had been shot at the island of Nacoof, most specifically Nacoof International Airport. The strikes were presumably durated and taken place during 28th of February to 4th of April. The airstrikes consisted of striking aircraft and damaging facilities needed to operate Nacoof International Airport, there was at least a few hundred casualties and many more wounded. The operation was later called "Operation Sandbar".
Selbesti Bunker Infiltration (February 29)
The Selbesti Bunker Infiltration was when spies working from the DSWN, obtained recruitment from Selbesti and had been granted acess towards a secret bunker that had been hosting notable prisoners of war. Inside of the bunker, was the prison cell of John Jason Wayne, at 1:40 AM, John Jason Wayne was reported missing, and a nationwide search was made for him. Meanwhile, SB-NHJ, had been scheduled a flight to Main Island for scrapping, but meanwhile, the previous occupants were inside the aircraft, including John Jason Wayne and the spies. While doing so, the plane flown to Main Island before loosing radio connection at 7:20 AM. By 2:31 PM, Noob Airlines 56 with its occupants landed, and John Jason Wayne returned back to DSWN soil. As a celebration, John Jason Wayne had made a national holiday on his return and made a speech.
Unified Pufferbloxia Incident (March 19)
In 10:30 PM, Unified Pufferbloxia was hit by several missiles that were directed from Selbesti. The missiles shot mainly Pufferbloxian City, causing several building collapses and a casualty list of 50. Unified Pufferbloxia expressed disdain for the incident, and the DSWN was largely to blame for the incident. A group of investigators from the DSWN flown into Unified Pufferbloxia, and confirmed that there wasn't any missiles going from the DSWN. The missile parts were extracted, and with evidence that there was missile strikes earlier at Home Archipelago by Selbesti, it was also determined because the models of the Selbesti missiles's fragments were not the same as any other missiles that are owned by the DSWN. There was a day of mourning, and Unified Pufferbloxia mobilised and joined the war with the DSWN.
Despite the claims of missile strikes, BaconHairBlox had not admitted about the incident and the Selbesti Ministry of Defence had denied the claims of a missile entering Home Archipelago.
