Roy Lee Admin (January 30, 1905 – November 8, 1984) was a Robloxian politician who was the 28th president of Robloxia from 1967 until his death in 1984. A member of the Robloxian Conservative Party, he also served as the 31st vice president of Robloxia from 1961 until the assassination of John F. Kenny in 1967, in which he assumed the presidency. From 1955 to 1959 he served as the 20th governor of Rovada.

Admin was born and raised in a working-class family in Rovada and expressed interest in politics during his teenage years. Subsequently, Admin joined local politics in the 1940s in his hometown, gaining significant recognition in the early 1950s. In 1961, he became vice president and later became president in 1967 following the assassination of the president. He managed to keep his presidency for two decades despite dealing with many conflicts such as the Secret War. Admin eventually passed away in 1984 due to a heart attack shortly after not re-seeking election in the 1984 presidential election.

Early Life

Admin was born on January 30, 1905 to working-class parents, Barbara and James Admin, in Las Valencias, Rovada. He had two older brothers, George and Edward, and one sister, Helen.

Political Career

Governorship and vice presidency

Throughout his years of local politics, he first gained national recognition in the early 1950s. In 1954, he was elected the governor of Rovada, in which he served out his term. In early 1961, two years after his governorship ended, he was chosen to be the running mate to Conservative presidential nominee, John F. Kenny. After a tight race, Admin and Kenny emerged victorious. He was sworn in as vice-president on December 1, 1961. On June 10, 1967, Kenny would be assassinated in Bloxas.

Admin was sworn in hours later on June 11, picking James Truth as his vice president. While Admin attempted to solve numerous of issues in the nation at that time, there were many conflicts that took place, especially during the 1970s and 1980s. His first major actions included negotiating the reclamation of territories lost in earlier conflicts, securing the establishment of Rolaska in December 1967, and strengthening Robloxia’s military defense with the construction of nuclear bases like Site 7 and Area 51.

Around the 1980s, disputes with the Bacon Empire caused the Secret War. In 1968, following an attack on Baconese islands, there were numerous of problems involving military and conflicts would continue towards 1973. Also in 1968, Admin signed an amendment requiring that elections take place in years ending in 4 instead of 1. Therefore, once the 1974 election had arrived, Admin and Truth were be re-elected to a second term. During the subsequent years, Robloxia was involved in certain major battles such as the Battle of the Bombs in 1971 and the Battle of Redcliff in 1973. Despite no victory in these conflicts, Admin continued to thrive the country. In the late 1970s, Admin began many constructions of nuclear sites in order to improve the nation’s defence and overall power. At this time, Admin also provided aid in RASA missions hoping it would go successful and worked closely with the company.

Health and passing

After 17 years in office, his health was rapidly declining. He and Truth chose to not seek a third term in the 1984 election. On November 8, three days after the election, Roy Lee Admin passed away in office at the age of 79 due to a heart attack.
