The Bacon Empire (Baconese: Imperio de Bacónia, Ro-Kasomian: Baycon Zembire) is a nation of 14 islands situated directly on the equator in South Bloxmerica. It is bordered by the Bacon Sea to the east, the Telamon Ocean to the west, Bloxico to the north, and Ro-Kasom to the southwest. The capital and largest city is Bacon City, which functions as the central hub of the archipelago, facilitating trade, services, travel, and economic activities. The nation is recognized as the third most powerful in South Bloxmerica and is the second smallest, encompassing an area of 233.2 mgst² (39,657 mi²/102,711 km²). As of 2025, the population stands at 35,420,542, placing it fourth in population size within South Bloxmerica.
The Bacon Empire was established by the Native Kasomians, the native people of Ro-Kasom, an island nation located just southwest of the mainland. In 1145, the Native Kasomians began to extend their territory into what would become the Bacon Empire, creating villages and trade routes. For several decades, many Native Kasomians migrated to the Bacon Empire, significantly enhancing its population and economic development. However, around the year 1200, the Native Kasomians shifted their focus to South Bloxmerica, initiating a colonization effort. They successfully claimed a substantial portion of the land, particularly in the northern and eastern regions. As a result, migration to the Bacon Empire diminished, and many individuals began to depart from the island, leaving only a few thousand inhabitants. In the 1500s, the Ro-Spanish began to penetrate South and Central Bloxmerican territories. This incited a fierce conflict between the Native Kasomians and the Ro-Spanish, ultimately resulting in the Ro-Spanish colonization of South Bloxmerica, alongside the Bacon Empire.
In 1795, the Baconese populace reached a breaking point due to the oppressive treatment imposed by the Ro-Spanish, leading them to declare their independence. The ensuing Baconese Revolution lasted for seven years, culminating in 1802 with the signing of the Treaty of Aragon by the Ro-Spanish. Following this, the Bacon Empire took the opportunity to establish a democratic system, appointing Juan Parabello as its inaugural president. The 1800s were marked by periods of both famine and prosperity, largely influenced by the leadership in power. Significant occurrences during this time included the Bloxmerican Plague, the Baconese Great Depression, and the Polybloxian Tsunami, each of which inflicted considerable hardship on the nation. The sole positive developments of the 19th century were the industrial revolutions. These calamities persisted into the 1900s, prompting a faction of rebels to rise against the government, as the two political parties consistently reversed each other's policies. The Baconese Civil War transpired from 1927 to 1932, resulting in a victory for the rebels. They subsequently renamed the Bacon Republic to the Bacon Empire, transitioning from a democratic framework to a monarchy, thereby allowing a single bloodline to dictate governance. Additionally, they instituted a modified Parliamentary system to assess the sentiments of the Baconese populace and monitor the state of the economy.
They refrained from participating in both Roblox Wars (I & II), preserving the lineage of the Bacon Family, which traces its origins back to the original settlers of the 12th Century. However, in the latter part of the 1900s, the Bacon Empire began to harbor animosity towards Western nations, despite being one itself. In 1967, a Baconese assassin, backed by King Rodrígo Bacon III , carried out the assassination of John F. Kenny, who was the president of Robloxia at that time. Following this event, Vice President Roy Lee Admin ascended to the presidency and declared war on the Bacon Empire in 1968. This conflict, referred to as the Secret War (sometimes referred to as the Bacon-Robloxia War by Ro-Kasom and Bloxanada), was so named because only the Western Hemisphere was aware of its existence. By 1973, Robloxia emerged victorious after bombing the four principal islands of the Bacon Empire. In 1977, recognizing the weakened state of the Bacon Empire post-war, Ro-Kasom initiated a war (under control by Iqa OΞ) with the intention of recolonizing the territory. However, this strategy proved unsuccessful, and Ro-Kasom only managed to acquire the island of Lorja in 1987, which remains under their control to this day. From the late 1900s to the early 2000s, the Bacon Empire focused on rebuilding its land and economy, achieving stability by 1995. Nevertheless, in 1999, Rodrígo V incited Baconese terrorists to hijack planes and crash them into various targets. The Mil-99 Attacks took place on December 23, 1999, prompting Robloxia to deploy thousands of troops, including Seal Team 6, to eliminate the instigator. For over two decades, Robloxia effectively maintained control over the Bacon Empire, regulating its imports and exports, overseeing its economy, government, and industry, and monitoring the actions of the King. However, in 2022, Bacon Empire forces launched an assault on Robloxian troops, leading President Builderman to withdraw all soldiers from the region, inadvertently leaving behind billions of robux worth of weaponry. Subsequently, Rodrígo VI sold this arsenal to the Tovokian Federation in exchange for bombs and artillery. In 2023, a faction known as brasscope allied with the Bacon Empire and began establishing bases in the Baconese-Kasomian Region.
History
Ancient Times
The indigenous Kasomians are believed to have discovered the island circa 1145 AD. The identities of the initial settlers remain unknown. However, ancient records from Ro-Kasomian sources indicate that the islands were completely colonized 763 sunsets after the first arrival, which amounts to just over two years. Between 1148 and the early 1200s, the Ro-Kasomians expanded their empire by establishing trading routes, harbors, villages, and networks of paths. Anthropologists suggest that around the year 1215, the Ro-Kasomians encountered South Bloxmerica, prompting a shift in their focus toward the colonization of that territory. Millions of Ro-Kasomians migrated to South Bloxmerica around the time of the division between Panamablox and Bloxolombia, subsequently incorporating Bloxolombia, Panamablox, RoVenezuela, Ro Guyana, Ro Suriname, Rogaulian Guiana, and the northern region of Bloxrazil into their empire.
Natives who were formerly part of the Bloxmericas joined the Ro-Kasomians, establishing villages and networks across the region. The Bacon Empire, referred to as ΞŒŔ Usland (E-fe-ar U-land) by the Ro-Kasomians, eventually saw its population dwindle to approximately 300,000. The populations of the newly acquired territories varied significantly, ranging from 200,000 to 5,000,000. This decline became more pronounced in the year 1312.
The Ro-Kasomians faced significant challenges in navigating the mountains they perceived as obstacles between their empire and the coast. Consequently, they resolved to seize the coastal territories from the Ro-Kasomian islands. Nevertheless, the Bloxincan tribe occupied that region, leading to a fierce conflict. Thousands of Ro-Kasomians were conscripted to engage in battle against the Bloxincans. By the year 1338, the war concluded in a stalemate; however, the Ro-Kasomeans succeeded in establishing a colony in what is now known as Equablox and northern Perublox. The conflict resulted in approximately 50,000 Ro-Kasomian casualties and 45,000 Bloxincan casualties, which also caused the population of the Bacon Empire to decline to 180,000 by 1340.
Ro-Spanish Colonization
Over the next two centuries, the population of the Bacon Empire islands experienced a decline as many residents relocated to South Bloxmerica, drawn by its plentiful lakes and more favorable agricultural environment. In 1532, the Ro-Spanish Empire made the decision to extend their influence from Central Bloxmerica and the Bloxaribbean into South Bloxmerica.
Ro-Spanish-Kasomian War
The Ro-Spanish-Kasomian War commenced in 1532 and concluded in 1544, culminating in a decisive victory for the Ro-Spanish forces and the subsequent colonization of a significant portion of Ro-Kasomian territory in South Bloxmerica, including the Bacon Empire. The conflict began with the Northern Campaign, during which numerous conquistadors and Ro-Spanish soldiers landed on the northern coast of South Bloxmerica and advanced inland. Although the Ro-Kasomians fielded a larger army, the Ro-Spanish possessed firearms and a well-organized military structure. By 1534, the Northern Campaign had reached its conclusion, leading to a transition to the Eastern Campaign.
The Eastern Campaign, which commenced in 1535, was the second most lethal military engagement in history. Over the course of five years, more than 150 battles were fought. Initially, the Ro-Spanish forces advanced significantly into Ro-Kasomian territory; however, the Ro-Kasomians retaliated with a naval invasion along the coast of the Ro-Spanish-held regions. This counteroffensive allowed them to reclaim lost territory and extend their reach into the Northern Campaign's occupied areas. The conflict saw alternating victories for both sides over a period of four years. In late 1539, the Ro-Spanish successfully executed a naval invasion of Ro-Kasomian territory, effectively encircling enemy troops. The Walk on Bloxolombia occurred in March 1540, during which conquistadors decimated nearly 2,000 Ro-Kasomians. By May 1540, Ro-Spanish naval forces had landed in Baconton, crossing the Aragon Strait to incinerate villages and establish settlements in the surrounding areas. The Baconese capitulated within two weeks and were subsequently annexed into the Ro-Spanish Empire, becoming a crucial strategic location for the Perubloxian Campaign.
