Construction

Closure of Esterfield Street to all traffic begun in preparation of the groundbreaking on the line at the future MetroCenter terminus started on December 29, 2023 and the road was ripped up and the shops on one side of the street were demolished after being vacant for three years and sold to the city by its owners, a real estate agency. On January 6th, digging commenced with the open shops on the other side of the street being given complementary space a block down until the creation of the temporary “road deck” which consists of a temporary roadway welded to the station structural beams. Traffic returned to the street on January 16th and a ceremonial groundbreaking was held on January 18th, with the mayor of Robloxity in attendance. Actual construction did not begin until late March due to supply chain shortages.

So far, as of April 2025, there are five stations completed. The latest station to be completed is the University station.
