Greater Rockford is a semi-recognized nation which is located a few miles away from Oceanland. Its capital is Greater Rockford City.
History
Establishment
Greater Rockford was created when an then-undiscovered subduction zone and hotspot was discovered near Oceanland on May 18, 2025. This subduction zone facilitated the expedited creation of a island coincidentally shaped like Greater Rockford which had sunk earlier in the Telamon Ocean near the area of Pilot Training Archipelago as a direct consequence of the 2025 Pilot Training Archipelago Earthquake. Before the earthquake, this nation still existed but in the island in Telamon Ocean.
First Settlement
The first people to settle on the newly created island were the people of Greater Rockford, all 621 of them. The people of Greater Rockford built the entire island using a blueprint of the entire island they had saved prior to the earthquake. It lasted for a long time.
Incorporation Era
As soon as the island was finished, it was immediately incorporated to Robloxia as a territory, before Robloxia realized that is was useless as a territory and sold it off in a first-come-first-buy auction. The first buyer was Bloxia Kingdom, and the territory was relinquished to the Bloxia Kingdom, which later incorporated it. Therefore, this territory became known as the shortest territory in Robloxia's history. During the incorporation era, the island saw a sudden surge in population from 621 to 1.4 million in a matter of hours. Some demographers argued this population bomb was similar to Brookhaven's population bomb in the Wolfpaq administration of Brookhaven from April 2020 until a certain point.
Rockford Rebellion & Independence

The Rockford Rebellion was the shortest rebellion in documented robloxian history, notable for getting Bloxia Kingdom to relinquish the territory and for themselves to declare independent from both countries. The rebellion was successful, and within hours, Rockford was able to become an independent country.
Cities
The nation has two main cities, Greater Rockford City and Mellor City. Greater Rockford City is the largest city and the capital of Greater Rockford. Other than these two cities, there are smaller rural settlements.
States
There are two states, East Rockford and Mellor.
Airports and Coast Guard Bases
The country boasts seven airports and even a coast guard base. Surprisingly, the coast guard base is owned by the Robloxia Coast Guard because the country has not yet established a proper coast guard yet, even during the Bloxia Kingdom Incorporation Era, where it was suggested that the coast guard base be sold to HM Coastguard. The most famous airport in the country is the Greater Rockford Airport. Despite this, it still costs 195 Robux to become a coast guard member here. The smallest airport is Derek Airstrip with a barn serving as its terminal.
