This page is about the 2020 reboot for Digitmon Adventure, if you want to see the original series, click here, also I want to keep this as a lesser known "sequel" of the original page O_O.
Digitmon Adventure: is a Neo-Japanese television series produced by Roei Animation and created by Akiyoshi Hongo. Considered a dumb remake of the original Digitmon Adventure, it was originally released during the COVID-19 Pandemic (which means it came out in 2020). It ran from 2020 to 2021.
in Robloxia, the series was not aired on television, but rather made available for streaming on Ro-Crunchyroll. It has a subtitled and a dubbed version in Robloxia.
Development (This part is fan fiction)
The series was first conceptualized sometime in sometime in 2000s (approximately 2008-2009), with a release date of September 8th, 2011. However, for unknown reasons, the series' air date was changed to 2020 because they forgot about it because most of the people who were working on it forgot about the reboot while working on another anime called "One Piece".
During development, it was planned to use the original designs of the characters from Digitmon Adventure.
However, according to a director of the series, the animators of the series could not find the original files, so they had to create new designs. It was also mentioned that the series began development once again after Digitmon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna (2019) had finished production. Most of the animation was made using some crappy animation that it was made in 2011 (it appears to be made in 1993-2006) software created for Rodows 06.
During the 2019 DigitCon (which took place in Brookhaven), a earlier version of the series' first episode was shown to a bunch of random people. The version was said to be created sometime between 2018 and 2019 and was leaked to the Roternet before being taken down by Ro-Bandai due to copyright infringement.
The series would be officially released in 2020 in Neo-Japan. It would take two years for the series to finally be released in Robloxia.
