Eiji Yetsoofmoto (6th century - 638) was a Nusian explorer and trader who, sailing south from Chairoshima, discovered Nyubishima (the largest island in Catfish Islands) in 620. He is considered the founder of the Eiji dynasty, which gained power on Nyubishima eleven years after his death, when his nephew Eiji Yorihide founded Kanteoof city. Later chronicles claimed his descent from the legendary Neo-Japanese Emperor Sujin (1st century BCE) or from Pokémon deities.
