The transit system is overseen by the Delta City Government and owned by Cloud Workshop, a company focusing on railway projects. The transit system connects the cities of Delta and Brentwood as well as other areas.

Delta Region Transit has 6 metro lines that connect to more than 20 stations across Greater Delta. The company's daily ridership from the 2023 statistics came about of 452,503 people, while annual ridership came about of 752,201 people. History

In the summer of 1983, the Delta City-State Government, under the direction of the Minister of Transport expressed interest in constructing a rapid-transit system in and around Delta. This resulted in the formation of the Delta Region Transit (DRT) system, which aimed to provide reliable and efficient transportation to its citizens.

After planning and construction, the first line of the DRT, known as the  Delta Line  , was completed in spring 1984. The line spanned from Brentwood North station to Delta station, with four stops in between: Brentwood Town Centre, Guildford Road, Marble Avenue, and Delta Line Museum. The Delta Line was officially opened to the public in and initially operated using an automated three-car 1100 series train set. However, due to low carrying capacity and slow speeds, the train set was later renovated to the 1300 series in February 1985. This line was to demonstrate the potential of a new Intermediate Capacity Transit System (ICTS)

In March of 1994, the Delta City Government announced plans to open a second line, which was originally called the Angle Shuttle but later renamed the  Central Line . The Central Line was intended to operate as a branch line, running between Angle Land Port and Guildford Road stations. It was designed with two-car trains that bore a striking resemblance to the train cars on the Ro-London Underground and shared a depot with the Delta Line. The Central Line opened to the public in May 1997

Shortly after the opening of the Central Line, the DRT announced the construction of another line: the  Airport Line . The line was intended to run between Delta Expo and Millennium stations, with four stops in between, connecting Delta International Airport. However, the trains on the line started to derail soon after the grand opening, causing the line to close temporarily. It was reopened two months later in September 2021 after repairs were made.

The DRT also announced the construction of the  Brentwood Light Rail , a new low-floor LRT line that was meant to run from Brentwood West to Brentwood North using single Robardier BI-100 APM people movers. However, for unknown reasons, the line was shut down numerous times. This was most likely due to derailments. In December 2023, The 5xxx series were retired and replaced with the new 301 train. In January 2024, The line shut down again due to more derailment and uncared work on the line. The line made a return on March 8, 2024 and has been operating ever subce.

Sometime later, the DRT had loaned some of the Delta Line trains to the TRR (The Ryan Railroad) to celebrate 1 million passengers on the TRR, in which the DRT had shipped the trains to Blox Kong.

In August 2021, a new Neo-Japanese style next stop system was teased on the Roblox Blox Kong Bloxbook group, along with a new train set. In December 2021, an update was introduced to the DRT, which included a new station named Brentwood East, a renovation of the LRT stations, and an extension to Delta Expo for the Airport Line. The Guildford Road station was also closed for renovations to make way for an extension to the Central Line and was renamed accordingly.

In February 2022, a major expansion was made to the Central Line, allowing it to connect with the Airport Line and vice-versa, with new stations added: Metrotown, West Central, and Central. The Guildford Road station was also reopened. In June 2022, a new station was constructed on the Delta Line, Marble Avenue.

In November of the same year, the DRT announced the addition of a new branch to the Delta Line, adding a new terminus: Delta Racecourse. Finally, in January 2023, the Minister of Transport announced plans to open a fifth line, the  Harbour Line , which would connect West Central to Hyacinth Harbor, with four stations in between: Hyacinth, Dyson Tower, Marble Avenue, and Brentwood East. The line would use 6100 Series train sets. In early 2024, a renovation was introduced to the Harbour Line trains, replacing them with the 7100 Series train sets.

In March 2025, the DRT opened 2 new stations to the roster and a new metro line, named the  Harbour Branch , connecting Hyacinth and Millenium stations. The new stations include Askham Green and Aryx-Horizon. The branch line includes both 7100 series train sets and 2060 train sets.
