Bricks (BRK or B$) is the most common currency of Polytoria. Bricks are regarded as Polytoria's primary currency, with Studs being the secondary currency. Citizens of Polytoria can use Bricks to buy both government made items and other citizen made items as well as investing in collectibles.

Obtaining Bricks and comparisons to Tix in Robloxia

Obtaining bricks is simple; like Tix, each Polytorian citizen is entitled to receive a minimum of two Bricks per day, which is comparable to the ten Tix per day at the time the Robloxian government repealed Tix. Citizens can also get Bricks from other citizens buying their items (it is unknown if Polytoria takes a income tax out of the purchase, but Robloxia takes a 30% income tax) or giving them extra Bricks while trading, where as Tix cannot be obtained via trading during the currency's lifetime.

History

Great Brick Massacre

The Great Brick Massacre, also known as the Economy Reset, was an event that happened on April 14, 2023, coincidentally seven years after Tix was deprecated in Robloxia. A response to the hyperinflation crisis in Polytoria fueled by hoarding Bricks, the Polytorian government, rather than deprecating Bricks, decided to 100% wealth tax the population and authorize the mass confiscation of all possessions. Great polarization in Polytorian political debates occurred subsequently, dividing the country into two camps: the Resetist, which argued that Brick hoarding was so heavy that it was causing hyperinflation in Polytoria and the only way hyperinflation could be curtailed were to 100% wealth tax and mass confiscate the possessions of the citizens, and the non-Resetist, which argued that the government should have handled it effectively as if it were a hyperinflation crisis in a country.
