The Black Terror (Telamonian: Weliweli Eleele) was a period in the history of the Telamon Islands during the 1870s and 1880s, when Rogaulian Telamon was ruled by a faction of Rogaulian nationalists. The beginning of the Black Terror is considered to be the end of the Great Famine, which was caused by the poor decisions of the nationalists. After the end of the famine, brutal repression was restored and lasted for about twenty years. The Black Terror did not end until the fall of the faction in the early 1890s. The rule of law was restored and repression was reduced. The period of the Black Terror is believed to have claimed the lives of up to 5,000,000 Telamonians. During the rule of the nationalists, mass relocations began, which later led to the migration of people from Bloxveld and Baoji.
