Manila Lakl (March 25, 1928 - June 30, 1987) was the 13rd, 14th, 15th president and a military dictator of Vista Union. He ruled the country for 13 years from dictatorship through several constitutional amendments between 1971 and 1984. Between 1977 and 1980, he killed more than 700,000 robloxians with mixed ethnicity. In 1984, a massive protest took place to fully remove Manila from presidency. And on May 8, 1984, he was fully removed from the presidency. He was later sentenced to death and was executed on June 30, 1987.
Early Life and education
He was born on March 25, 1928 in Kukuleopa, Alola Kingdom. In 1935, his family moved to Albino City. However, not much is known about his childhood.
Political Career
In 1943, he joined the RW2. However, after the axis power lost and was occupied by the allies power, he left the army and joined the Democratic Justice Party (DJP) in 1962. However, he planned about a military coup, and in July 1971, he sent his agents to assassinate Renia Garcia, the then-president of Vista Union. After Garcia was killed, acting president El Maklono took office. However, on December 10, 1971, he started a military coup and took down El Maklono. He shortly became the president on December 18, 1971.
Vista Genocide
Between 1977 and 1980, he killed more than 700,000 people with mixed ethnicity, most in Alola Island, all because he considered them as 'dirty mixed clay people'.
1984 Protests
In 1984, protests occurred all over Vista Union, and was pulled down from president on May 8, 1984. On May 10, 1984, his statue in Albino City was torn down by the citizens.
Death penalty and execution
On October 22, 1984, he was arrested by the then-president, Dave Smith, for several crimes. Between 1984 and 1987, trial for Manila Lakl continued. On January 18, 1987, he was sentenced to death, and on June 30 the same year, Manila was executed. According to the prison guard, he stated that Manila kept shouting that he was innocent more than 7 days from execution. Even today, he still remains as one of the worst military dictators in Roblox.
