Air Robloxia was an airline founded in 1986. The airline was started with 4 Air Ro French R300s that were leased. Air Robloxia had its base in Bloxburg and flew to various routes in Robloxia, Bloxia Kingdom, Rogaulia and Bloxanada. The airline, however, shut down in 1989 after an incident involving an aircraft that burned down due to faulty security measures. It was soon liquidated to Robloxia Airlines in 1989.
History
In 1986, Air Robloxia was founded, originally Air Robloxia had ordered Roeing 737s, but later leased four Air French R300s for more routes. The airline was headquartered in Bloxburg and the main center of operations was also in Bloxburg.
During 1987-1988, Air Robloxia was known as a growing airline, with planned orders of other aircraft after the lease for their first aircraft had been terminated. During these two years, flights to Ville de L'Amour, Ro-London, and Ro-Toronto had started, making the airline an international one. Air Robloxia had also been growing in passengers due to cheaper prices than other airlines that served similar routes to Air Robloxia's.
However, in 1989, a passenger lit up the cabin of an R300 that was leased by Air Ro French that was going to depart to Robloxia City, releasing intense smoke in the cabin and causing many people to pass out inside the aircraft. In the end, only 87 people survived as 42 people had passed away in that flight. After the incident, Air Ro French pulled their lease contract with Air Robloxia due to one of their aircraft being lost due to lack of security measures. Shortly after, passengers boycotted Air Robloxia, causing the airline to be nearly bankrupt. Robloxia Airlines purchased the nearly bankrupt airline, but after poor performance the assets of the airline was soon transferred to Robloxia Airlines.
