The aftermath of the December 2023 Robloxia attacks, which was the one of the deadliest act of terrorism in the United States by citizens of the country and took place during the final two years of then-president Builderman's second term, led to the US government to create the immediate rescue and recovery efforts and had a major effect on the citizens, officers and first responders in the following weeks and months after the original attacks, especially those who were in Robloxia and West Island.

After the shooter was killed in the attacks, the local authorities declared that the city "would be totally rebuilt, no matter what the cost." On December 14, 2023 (two days after the attacks), cleanup efforts at the targeted, now-damaged or destroyed location commenced. While the hotel sustained serious to severe damage, the crew handled it very well and swiftly, and the entire facility was fully repaired and reopened just months later in March 2024. Early work on rebuilding the new headquarters officially began with two famous builders displaying their own design; it would take 10 people to at least make the building seem excellent, perfect, and a "great" sight to see, and the final version was revealed in 2025. In April 2024, it was reported on the site that the ancient buildings will be rebuilt, and the process was completed, along with the Roblox Headquarters. The overall cost of the rebuilding is believed to be nearly $2.5 billion dollars; 300-900 million was spent on each building.

Reported damage

Monument Grounds Lookout was covered in brown dust and had to deal with the west side being ripped away from the spot due to the collapse; previously, only the windows were affected, but one person was killed, according to a press release. Several others building nearby were "smashed" because of the amount of dust and debris. A popular ferris wheel, which cost a total of nearly one billion dollars, had majority of parts cracking into pieces, one cart falling and breaking, and the fact that it was actually shaken from the big blast for nearly eight seconds, the reports explained that "damage was severe". Outside of the hotel, other buildings received minor damage; the windows cracked to the point of breaking, and the fronts and sides of those structures were severely damaged.

A mini-store that sold food, water, and snacks and was open at night was also completely demolished when the majority of the falling debris landed on top of its roof; one person was injured in the store. The same home house that was hit by the explosion was totally cut in half, with the remainder falling sideways to another structure nearby and sustaining significant damage. A local restaurant suffered minor damage, with at least two windows being severely damaged. The interior of the eatery was unsafe. The collapse also affected a statue erected in honor of the person who founded the city. Several large trees were allegedly pinned down to the grass, although they recovered after the attacks and were replanted somewhere in the city proper. A basement was located at the bottom of the headquarters.

During the destruction, the entire room was clogged with debris, inflicting severe damage and resulting in a pile of garage. The city's subway rails became clogged with dust, debris, and parts from damaged buildings, causing trains to be delayed for an extended period of time. There were allegations that a well-known TV channel abruptly went off-air around 12:10 p.m. till December 29. There were two possible causes: the cable was destroyed or the building that housed the TV channel collapsed. A water pool in one of the buildings' backyards near the hotel building in front of others caused a tsunami wave that spread to the adjacent streets, causing Robloxians to slip on the streets for a while. In late 2023, the water evaporated. According to the 2020 Roblox Census Bureau, the bottom portion of the city contains approximately 400,000 dwellings, buildings, and shelters. Following the attacks, around 200 dwellings were lost, destroyed, or damaged in the event itself.

Delays and cancellations

During the shooting on December 10, many trains were delayed for at least ten to twenty minutes, with one even continuing on. However, shortly after the bombing at roughly late-midnight, and with the water rushing down into the rails, practically all of the same subways were suspended from 1:06 a.m. until 4:55 a.m. One to two train stations thought to be close to the hotel's location were temporarily blocked until the problem was resolved by RST personnel beneath. There were three to four separate tracks in the middle of the hotel that allowed the (Main R-C) subways to move on it, and after the explosion, a bit of dust and debris fell and created a crack at the very top of the walls; as a result, the company said that the service would be cancelled until the "thing" was fixed and connected back to its original location. At the time, one subway, which was on its way to 456th Street or 1-7th Ave and was transporting 45+ people to work, received the information, and as a result, they had to walk through the tunnel entirely; the entire process would last over two hours, and by then, all of them were fatigued and some even weak.

Despite the bombs, most services, particularly the (RC) line, were restored and resumed operations from early morning to late afternoon on December 11, 2023. At the same time, the RST Lower Robloxia-West Island Line announced that various trains around the city would be delayed by 10-15 minutes due to the attack. The subways were soon shut down and sent back to West Island, where most subways sit until ready to operate. However, they later resumed local services by 6:00 a.m. It was stated that practically all subways will skip-stop at the 115th Street station, which is one block distant, to ensure that "no one gets killed." Following press reports of one of the shooters entering the 126th Street station, it was closed for the whole day, and the company advised all trains to avoid it, fearing that one could be hazardous and return; on December 29, the station had reopened to the public. For the most part of the day on December 11, services ran as usual, with only a few trains on the Express (RSI) line coming to a complete halt, but later in the afternoon, they were immediately resumed.

When the ongoing attack on Roblox Headquarters was taking place, a couple of (Lower R-C) train services were immediately halted, but all subways continued to operate normally. A train station was located not even one block away from the shooting site; in the first minutes of the event, the station was packed with a total of 20 people attempting to flee or avoid being killed by one of the shooters, before a long train arrived at the stop and loaded everyone into carts. Within minutes of the collapse, all services, including popular subway lines like (Higher RC) and (Lower WI), were shut down or suspended to avoid attracting more people; many on the trains had already become ill as a result of the dust, which was likely beneath. Many of the subways that were currently running along the line near the building lost power and had to be evacuated into the tunnels. From December 11 to 14, all (WI) subways were suspended. Water became a major concern for the rails as a result of the massive amount of dust and debris that came in, causing a flood and delaying the subways, which was eventually escalated to a general cancelation.

Schools

Public and private schools in the city and surrounding areas were closed on Monday, December 11, 2023. In total, over 1.6 million children aged 4 to 18 were forced or urged to stay at home, with the majority of them due to their parents' fear of another attack or shooting. The schools reopened on Monday, December 18, 2023. School attendance was 68.75% of typical, with approximately 600,000 students still choosing not to attend school that day. As parents' anxieties dissipated, student attendance began to grow dramatically. On January 29, 2024, a month and a half after the attacks, school superintendents claimed that attendance had returned to normal levels.

Economic

Immediately following the strikes, global stock markets across the city began to plummet dramatically. With the headquarters gone, an estimated R$5 million in revenues were lost. On Monday, December 11, 2023, during the afternoon, when most people were evacuating from the "risk zone," numerous well-known banks were forced to close for the whole day. This impacted business as well. There were roughly 10,000 appointments on the lower side of the city, and the mayor demolished or entirely shut down about 1,000 of them. To prevent insolvency, each bank hit by the attacks received approximately R$500,000.

By then, Robloxians had made the decision to stay at home for the entire week, at least until the smoke cleared. The smoke eventually disappeared in late January 2024. As a result, around $10 million was lost. Workers who had previously driven subways were forced to become bus drivers after they were cancelled. The "STAY AT HOME" rule, which went into effect on December 13, 2023 at roughly 7:00 a.m., had a tremendous influence on jobs. In 10 days, popular restaurants, supermarkets, and retailers lost $970,000 each due to the incident. Prices have risen from R$17.5-R$54.5 per food to as much as R$100.8-R$150.5. According to a news release issued by the city mayor on December 23, 2023, around $10 billion was lost over the next few days, from December 10 to December 20.

Positive cultural influence

In the aftermath of the December assaults, and even now, the events of December 9-12 had a significant impact on the city and the world's cultural influence, and were described as a historical, political, and media event. Immediate media replies focused on improving one's focus in life, being together with loved ones and families during the "quiet, but beautiful and warm" holiday season throughout the world, remaining positive to one another, and other topics. These were also taking place on the internet; several famous and well-known apps, from Twitter to even Tiktok (which was generally negative from the public at the time of the attacks), had the word hashtags of simply, "#Robloxia."

Memorials and tributes

Photos of the victims, who were lost, killed, and injured at the time, were posted all over Robloxia on walls, stores, streetlights, billboards on top of a building's main roof, as well as in subway stations, trains, buses, and old phone booths near where the fourth attack occurred. Source reported that "despite the sadness in Robloxia, Robloxians decided to help one another by converting their homes into shelters" for Robloxians whose homes were damaged by the headquarters collapse; others mourned the tragic loss of a family member or an entire family. A group of eyewitnesses claimed to have seen "sobbing people" everywhere they looked. From mid to late December 2023, 900+ flags (for the same amount of victims) were placed on the streets, forming a path. At the final flag, there is a small building where Robloxians was greeted by an image of the Roblox Headquarters. Most states bordering the city had workers in restaurants working cooking food and then delivering it to the city by huge trucks to give meals to families affected by the attacks.

In Brookhaven, many different police cars, ranging from vans to buses from the city of Robloxia, drove on the road for ten minutes as the national government requested that everyone observe a moment of silence. The national government promised a livestream of the moment of silence, but it did not make it public for public view. RobloxCam, a security camera company, has announced that security cameras would not be operational from December 15-16, 2023. On December 14, the Empire State Building in New Blockers City changed its lights to match the color of the flag that Robloxia frequently used. For the first time in its history since the 1930s, a "heartbreaking and extreme well-done" soundtrack was played on the very top of the top-roof for 20 minutes, using a bunch of loudspeakers. Roblox users reported that the sound was "audible" 20 miles from the city. On December 15, in Bloxy Square, located in the heart of the city, the billboard surrounding the landmark changed completely black, before showing Robloxia before and after the events, with the words "Remembering the victims lost and killed." A day later, on December 16, the Brooklyn Bridge's lights were changed to match those of the Empire State Building, while workers, police officers, firefighters, and others drove through the bridge, waving their hands from their cars' windows. This event was originally intended to be a once-in-a-lifetime event. However, due to popular demand by citizens, the event had since been held annually; the most recent was in 2024.

Throughout the rest of the week and into the weekends, schools in all of the city's suburbs held a memorial march in the street on Monday, December 18, 2023, for at least one and a half hours from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on one of the city's streets, with students and teachers holding photos of the Robloxians killed during the attacks. By that time, a new memorial for the West Island Theater was in the early stages of construction, with completion currently scheduled for 2025. While the West Coast of Robloxia was snowed in, forcing all memorial ceremonies in the area to be held online (which subsequently backfired when snowdrifts caused power cables to collapse), an adult erected a memorial out of wooden blocks. It is at least 5 blocks from ground zero; the majority of the blocks were used to hand-recreate the complete building based on historical pictures. The Robloxia Hotel Memorial began early development in 2024 and was completed before opening to the public on the fourth anniversary of the attacks in late 2027. On January 9, 2024, the one-month anniversary of the first attack in December, over 200 boats progressively move away from the Harbor and establish a look-alike building, with their ships in the middle of the water in honor of the headquarters and those slain. A month later, in February, similar to the other event, jets were flying over the city.

In a news release issued by the local government on December 20, 2023, they announced intentions to build a memorial in honor of the people and city devastated by the "tragic" attacks. The memorial began construction on January 1, 2024, and was completed just two years and a half later, on March 29, 2026; it was opened to the public a month later, to high applause. In celebration of the city, the Weather Channel has agreed to add dots on December 14, 2023, in the same design and size as the headquarters. In mid-2024, it was announced that a new homage would be built in the park. The area was thereafter blocked for at least a year until late-2025, when the memorial was unveiled in the park's center. On January 4, 2024, a memorial was raised in Marchen City. It was completed in 2025, and the inaugural event took place in that same year. In the community of Berry Avenue, a tribute to the persons murdered is said to be in the early phases of development by at least 20 people in the first half of February 2024; seven of them lost a loved one or their children's dads during the three-day attacks. It was completed less than a month later, on March 31, 2024. On December 30, 2024, about 150,000 people participated in the march known as the "December March." A monument near the city's main entrance began building in 2024 and will be completed by 2025. In 2027, Mt. Blox will have a memorial in the lava crater.

Since 2024, on the exact time that the initial occurrence occurred on December 9, 2023, and when the famed headquarters collapsed to the ground, at 12:07:00 a.m., a moment of quiet has been observed, and the four lights in Robloxia have turned on for one minute. Since 2024, on each anniversary of the event, the crowd, families of deceased loved ones, and even survivors have gone to the same buildings where the attacks took place and read out the names, including the ages of each victim killed, while background music from a band played in the distance nearby; the event is broadcasted on local television, live webcams, and online video websites. President Roblox officially signed a measure declaring December 9 to 12 as a national mourning and "a sorrow holiday". In December 2026, a simulation of what it was like to be on the scene during the attacks was launched. Like the memorial, it was initially underutilized before catching up with the rest of the memorials. When the brand-new ROBLOX headquarters was ultimately reconstructed in 2028-29, the museum, which had been planned for four years, opened on November 24, 2029, in the previous location of the Roblox HQ. The museum's opening ceremony was place on the same day.
