This sound effect can be found on RH 88/89, which was made by Robert Hall Productions. Despite the name suggesting a recording of dripping water, it is a series of short mouth harp "boinks", probably meant to evoke water dripping from a faucet. A low pitched edit of the first boink was later released on the Universe of Sounds sample library as Funny Business - Boing, and none of these effects should be confused with BOINK, CARTOON - BOINK 01 or BOINK, CARTOON - BOINK 03 despite sounding similar.
