This sound effect can be found on The Premiere Edition Volume 9, which was made by The Hollywood Edge. It is a much sped-up version of WEATHER - THUNDER CRASH 02 from the BBC Sound Effects Library - Original Series, and was largely used by EFX Systems in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
