Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw is the fourth animated film based on the third installment in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series, and it was released on December 5, 2025. This is the fourth animated movie, and the eighth overall Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie, including the previous live-action films.
Matt Danner (who previously directed Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again for Disney+) directed the film, taking over from Luke Cormican.
